Yeah I know, once again it's a giant conspiracy that lost us the game.

The Penguins are a better team, why is that so hard for some of you to accept?
The only reason it was even close (as usual) is because Lundqvist was godlike.

What is your excuse tonight, Torts? If Fleury were not a human sieve, this is a 5-1 game. Were you trying to protect a 2-goal lead for half the game? Would Prust or Shelley have done worse than this sad sack bunch that they deserved to be benched for the entire 3rd period? How abut you man Redden? He wan't benched. Torts....you suck.

Once the game went to OT or skills competition, you knew that weren't winning.

It was a stupid play by Redden, but I'll be the first to call it a soft call in OT.

The story is Henrik though. 1st, 2nd and 3rd start tonight. How you got a point in this one.... wow. Credit to Drury also who came back from the Olympics with drive.

Safe is death?
I guess the definition of that is playing scared and sitting back for the whole entire 3rd period.

Horrible job the coaching staff. Team was completely unprepared for the 3rd and were playing with no pressure or grit like they had shown all game. They played like they were scared.

How many chances is Redden going to get on this team? He has played like absolute crap all season. He wouldn't be earning his salary if he was making $3 million per year. It doesn't matter if it was a weak call on him in OT. He shouldn't have put himself in that position in the first place.

So much for accountability. If there was ANY he would be benched the next few games at the least.

4-2 lead late in the 2nd period.

Totally inexcusable.

I guess Torts didnt realize that he's playing the defending champs who have been lighting us up all season long. Would it really have killed him to slow the pace down and for once just clog the middle?

I put this on Torts through and through.

The only reason it was even close (as usual) is because Lundqvist was godlike.
They don't call two penalties on Pitt in the last minute of regulation. Okay, they're letting them play to finish off a tie game. Understandable.

They don't call at least one interference penalty in the overtime period on Pitt. Okay, understandable -- letting them play.

Rangers get penalized for a soft hook that didn't prevent a scoring chance.

The 4on3 decides the game.

THAT is my ****ing problem with the refereeing on Pittsburgh.

pretty much, didnt we get a PP late in the 3rd and did squat on it? we didnt deserve any points in this one, Henrik stole us 1...also to be fair...we didn't have Gaborik, by far and away our best skater.

To those people that are blaming the loss on Redden / the refs: you're retarded.

Rangers were outshot 55-16! They were UNBELIEVABLY lucky to get a point out of that game. If I was you guys, I'd be thanking my lucky stars.

If Lundqvist was on the Penguins, Blackhawks, Red Wings. You already have won a cup..

Wouldn't surprise if he demands a trade in the near future.
