Playoff Invoices

Anyone get their invoices?
300s side - Round 1 is $90 a ticket. Reg season $56

I know someone in 400s
Round 1 is $68. Reg season I think is $37

I'll be passing this year.

I passed last year and still went to every game. Instead of paying face, I paid below...

400's for the 4 rounds of playoffs are MORE then the whole regular season... This organizations continues to disgrace itself...

I also just looked at my ticket in 405 from game 3 against Buffalo in 2007. Ticket was only $45. Amazing how much it's gone up and this was a 2nd round game too.

holy crap. That is a lot of money for a first round playoff game, but I am used to cheap tickets at the NVMC.

Just saw the email, and was about to log in to my account, but said let me open hfboards first, and be horrified by the prices.

I'm pretty sure it was $85 last year. So reg season went up $5, playoffs went up $5. With the economy the way it is, and the way the team looks, I dont see a reason to pay $85 to see them. I'll just watch from my home in HD and save the $170

"There's nothing regular about the 2009-2010 season schedule"

JK . That is a joke. But, that's the price you pay for a team that plays in one of the best Hockey arena's in the US.

Made the switch to Verizon a long time ago. But realistically Dolan will always find 18,000 butts to pay for those tickets in this city. So as a single person protesting you're not really hurting him.

Wrong. The dirty little secret this season is the internal turmoil over the fact that the Rangers have only sold out only a few games this season. They have convinced themselves its the economy, not the extreme price increases over the past 5 years. There are people inside the organization that disagree strongly. Either way, they have definitely taken note and are quite concerned that they replaced 20+ yr subscribers with corporations that no longer buy tickets.

Chalk that up for me as well (although I'm not a 20+ yr subscriber). I'll be dropping my season tickets after this season. I can't keep paying Dolan more and more money every season. Now it's harder than ever to sell extra games too.

The season after the lockout I was paying $52 I think for a section 233 seat. Today that seat is close to $100. When we moved to the 300s the following season I think it was around $38 or $40 per ticket. Now, it's $56.

Heck back in 06-07 we were paying about $56 for a playoff game. That team was much better than this one.

It's funny that the average price of a ticket hasn't changed all that much, yet prices in the upper bowl have skyrocketed...

If we made the playoffs, this would probably be the first year since 05-06 that I don't go to at least one playoff game.

The team gets worse and the prices go up. Brilliant!!
