This brought tears to my eyes, I thought I would share it.

I showed it to my wife (who at the moment is pregnant with twins) it sent her into a hormonal sobfest similar to the last time she watched Big Fish.

For a guy that's been told that he's an unemotional man of logic (Mr.Spock) by nearly every ex I've ever had, and an unfeeling robot by all of his friends.....

... I must admit there's a lump in my throat.

I will never forget the look on her face after her short program. It kills me every time I think about it. I wish her a great life and I hope we will see her again in another Olympics, although in Sochi she will be 28 so I'm not sure how that will affect her.

Was actually on the coffin at the memorial service - wonder if it'll be buried with her?

Very very tragic yet inspiring story - best wishes to her in the future.

It is not a unique situation for a child to say goodbye to their mother; it hurts "big time"...

This CTV news story did a great job of sharing an Olympian experience while bringing aspects to those who have either been through "a major loss" or might experience one in the future.

Well written....

I also have to say though... Joannie is a total hottie, ferreal.

even though a bit sensationalized, its a great story and rochette is one strong woman..good luck to her in the future...although i do think she kind of looks like a man..
