Must lose game. Not only for our draft hopes, but for our anti-Flame hopes. I have a strange feeling we'll win it though.

maybe this is in another thread, but what's the deal with moreau? Is he just a healthy scratch? If so, it's about freaking time!

EDIT: Sorry, I just noticed on the website that he has some neck injury...

The Wild were really good a couple days ago,and went on to win 4-0 against Calgary.

5-1 Wild tonight Gagner has the lone Oilers goal

You think they might drop the price of PPV, seen as how people are selling these tix to the actual game on eBay for the same price...haha.

Only going to this game to hang with the boys down at the bar. Something to do. Hopefully we lose.

I hope they shrink down the amount of times the Oilers play on ppv next season. I also hope they are aired more on Sportsnet, tsn and cbc. These ppv games are bs.

The rest of the ppv games should be free seeing how most will not be willing to pay to watch an ahl team down the stretch.

I guess Horc's one goal in 20 games was enough for the first line again. What does Brule have to do to get respect on this team?
Actually, those top 2 lines make a lot of sense. I think it would be safe for me to say that everyone on this board agrees that 1-2 of Comrie/POS/Cogliano/Nilsson has to go for the start of next season.

The next biggest step for the Oilers in the rebuilding process is the draft. Most likely, Comrie is let go (unless they feel he can be used to shelter the younger players from tougher opposition/minutes). As for POS/Cogliano/Nilsson, 1-2 of them will most likely be traded (and I believe they can be traded, even if we have to package them with one of the extra draft picks that we have aquired through the most recent deals). With that said, whats the best way to promote players that you want to trade? Play them in bigger roles, and give them more icetime.

So in short, the top 2 lines (if they stay this way for most of the remaining 19 games) are basically a showcase for the players we want to trade at the draft (with the possible exception of Penner).

Edit: To answer your question regarding Brule, I do not believe its a lack of respect. From how I see it, it's exactly the opposite: they want to keep Brule, therefore there going to shelter him in hopes of garnishing more attention for the players mentioned above.

They're going to announce the 50/50 number during the 2nd intermission, so we don't have to stay for the 3rd period?

I kid! I kid!

Woohoo, off to the Oilers game. Woohoo! Woohoo!

Okay, now I really kid.

Moreau is still at the Chicago airport awaiting the trade phone call from Tambellini.

I hope he never plays another second in an Oilers uniform.

You may have to install the addon, but it works great.
