Telling of what?

The context there was that our D doesn't communicate enough.

He also said something similar to Lydman, and he was asking Myers and Butler to repeat the answers to his questions in a louder voice.

Ruff often stopped practice to implore his defensemen to be louder, at one point asking Andrej Sekera if the Slovakian Olympic team talked on the ice, reminding Toni Lydman that he should be louder than he perhaps was while playing with Finland, and making Tyler Myers and Chris Butler repeat answers to questions in a louder voice.

But it was also fairly obvious that he felt that Sekera was more vocal with the Slovakians at the Olympics.

I dunno, I didn't get that from that context.

Even so, considering Sekera captained every national side from U-16 to U20, sorta makes sense he's more comfortable in those surroundings.

Rivet I completely agree with. I said 2 months ago I didn't want to see him on the point. But I don't think Montador (or anyone else) is going to be any better. It's just a hole their going to have to deal with.
Monty gets his point shot off quicker and more accurate then any of our blueliners.

It seems both Montador and Sekera look to get it on net quicker than the other regular culprits back there. I noticed Myers wristing it a bit more in the last game too -- that would be Patrick's work I expect. Anyone who racked up the PP points like Patrick should have the defenesmen's attention.

Tallinder/Myers
Lydman/Rivet
Sekera/Monty

Those pairs were quite solid defensively when Butler was out injured.
Personally, I'd keep Sekera with Lydman and bump them up with more ice time as the 3rd/4th. Then use Montador with Rivet in small doses, preferably not in the final 5-10 minutes of the game.

Really?? Quicker, maybe but more accurate?

It seems to me that Montador is guilty more than any other defenseman of shooting wide and high (although Myers has been shooting off the glass lately as well).
