The Good -

- Getting a win, even an ugly one. Especially an ugly one.
- Mair with two points.
- Torres +1? Points? Not Heinze, but it was a good beginning.
- Grier's feed on Mair's goal.
- Connolly's redemption.
- Sekera getting it there.

The Bad -

- Mair with two points.
- Connolly's giveaway.
- Leighton. Holy hannah, if he's their playoff tender, this is another horror show for the Flyers.
The Ugly -

- Mair with two points.
- Another injury. Apparently Portland will play 9 defense and a trainer if Buffalo has to make a recall.

They're so short on forwards, maybe Dineen dresses himself. Heck, they should let people bring their gear to the rink. Best skater in the morning gets a spot on the 4th line.

Mancari I would think. Kennedy's ass was glued to the bench, so I'm not sure how they are going to deal with that.

Connolly adds three more points to his team-leading total.

I agree. I have like Mancari's overall game for over a month now.

Another good -

- Vanek's pinball goal.

Another Bad -

- Myers looked poor out there again. Bad positioning on the Gagne goal, a few more turnovers.... he doesn't look rested at all.

They don't count the assist on the Richards goal.

If ever had designs on an NHL career this is a golden opportunity for him. If he actually gets called up of course.

Eh, I'm actually expecting them to dress 7 D honestly. It is the Sabres after all.

I have mixed emotions about Stafford getting injured.

Kind of like Danny Carcillo driving over a cliff -- in my brand new Maeserati.

So Darcy, time to tap some of that Portland potential you waxed so eloquently about at the deadline?

You're probably right.

So do we see Vanek/Roy/Pommer next game? The looked good the few shifts they had at the tail end of the game

Why don't we bring in some bodies?

Is it a chemistry thing?

Is it a money thing? To think all along we were fixated on banked cap space. The only cap, it seems, was on Big Tom's bank account.

the good
- the turnover aside, Connolly had a very good game. 1 goal, 1 assist, consistently got the puck in the zone, won 13 of 20 (65%)
- Mair was awesome... too bad he's the best option whe your top 6 winger goes down
- Raffi's first shift
- the PK

the bad
- the minute of PP time after the timeout...
- most every shift that Kennedy took
- Roy being Roy
- Raffi looking lost on a lot of shifts

the ugly
- this team looks like playing 500 hockey down the stretch would be impossible

Kennedy is sick, per Ruff's post-game presser. Stafford with a groin injury, will likely miss some time.

Stafford has a groin injury and is going to miss some time. Ruff said if he is missing some time they will need somebody

Kennedy wasn't benched he was sick so he couldn't play much.
