The Modin goal was almost a carbon copy of the Kopitar goal, a backhand shot from the right past his left leg. Halak has to improve hisability to move his left leg so that it arrives before the puck enters the net or perhaps undergo a (not very plausible) growth spurt.
When the Habs make the playoffs (next season, of course) I don't expect to see Halak in goal. Sorry, groupies. I don't consider the Halak partisans to be stupid, just beautiful dreamers.
I distinctly remember a snide remark or two in this thread about giving up 3rd period goals against San Jose. It would help to keep in mind that the Sharks are a much better team than the Kings and they got off twice as many shots, many of them tough.
I agree but it says a lot about how my expectations have dipped when getting this game to OT is considered alright to start off with now. I mean, we are kings of getting scored on when the lat minute arrives, even when it's th 3rd period and the other team pulls the goalie (when you really need to get that ****ing puck out of the zone, which we can't even do regularly at 5 on 5... like right as I type this).
