Whitney did well. Loved his nastiness (compared to what we've seen before from this team)

Pleasantly surprised by Johnson. Had a decent game IMO.

Any news on Jones?
He wasn't bad...for a Flame.

The Leafs look like they may never win again, and this is from a team that should be trying to win.

Exactly. Throw a dart blindfolded you will hit the bullseye once and a while.

They played the same hockey as always...we aren't the only weak sister in the league. When the opposition can' t score, we may win.

great interview by comrie here, shows he's still enjoying being here. Do you bring him back next season if he will sign for similar money?

I think I would.

Poor Dubby. Maybe the Oilers should play him 18 games straight to ensure no wins.

He actually has more than five years NHL experience; they'd be stupid not to re-sign him.

You guys need to work with Columbus in making sure that we get #2. That means you have to beat us next week in Columbus. That's because we probably don't even want Hall so even if we get #1 we probably wouldn't take him. We need a #1 center

With Giguere in net, the Leafs have the chance of him stealing them a point or two here or there, like he did in Boston last night. And there's no way that Brian Burke is going to allow his team finish dead last. He could fire the head coach and that always gives any team a boost for a week or two.

Just saw the Boogard hit on Jones on Sportsnet.

How is this guy on an NHL team? How come other teams dont file a complaint?

Keep in mind Toronto has a far easier schedule playing in the East.

Toronto's record in the east - 15-20-11 (.446)
Edmonton's record in the west - 14-31-5 (.330)

We're almost above .500 playing against eastern conference teams

I was actually thinking of starting a poll on this but am too lazy If someone else wants to, be my guest. I think it's an important question, because we all know there are only so many spots available, especially for a team that is supposedly looking to get bigger in the offseason.

Yeah but we can't underestimate the "Phaneuf Phactor". Giguere is up against his poor defense.
