Kings lose in OT, but steal a point on the road! Tied with Phoenix!

Go Vancouver! XD

Frustrating game to lose, but at least we got a point out of it. If Vancouver holds onto their lead We'll take over the 4th spot.

Handzus and Frolov where HUGE tonight!

Road point ftw. Richardson's turnover is gonna give me nightmares for awhile though.

Quick stole us that point, huge game by him.

Zeus was our best skater imo, was huge on each of the pk's, and played solidly throughout the game

The Simmer line doesn't seem to be working. No chemistry in the works. Zues was a god on PKs.

Can someone put Youtube up of this? I didn't even notice, but I'd like to see. I don't think they can review goals for offsides violations though, can they. Either way, too late now.

Sharp wasn't offsides. It was close ,but he still stayed behind the blueline.

Why would Randy Jones pinch like that on a 4-on-4?

Yeah, rough way to lose a close one, but it was a tough game all around.

Brown's had some pretty awful defensive lapses over the past two loses - both regulation Hawk goals were scored on some poor efforts by Dustin. Great to finally see him stand up for a teammate though.

The Hawks have such great speed in transition that it's probably safer to keep that third man as high as possible, but man, it sure seemed like the Kings were constantly outnumbered down low on their forecheck. It's to Frolov, Stoll and Handzus' credit that they were often able to keep posession when outmanned like that.

Anze, wow, incredible second efforts all night long. Great game for #11. Solid game for Smyth too, which is the first time I could say that in a while.

And we desperately need another impact defenseman. JJ's been well off of his pre-Olympics game, and frankly, he's been doing a lot more wrong than right lately.

Both Greene and Scuderi have been on top of their game, but Jones was rounding back to the form that had so many of us pulling our hair out on a nightly basis.

Jones played no worse then doughty tonight. Richie's turnover Doesn't help the matter.

I disagree - they were fantastic against Columbus, and solid again tonight. Simmonds was a little too animated, but I thought Handzus and Modin were just as strong along the boards and in the corners as they were two nights ago.

It's hilarious watching the replay, it's actually both Jack Johnson AND Randy Jones rushing up the ice, then BAM, turnover and it's over.

Except when Doughty plays bad, it's still better than anyone else.

I would agree on most occasions but not tonight. I couldn't even count how many times doughty would skate in wide and turnover the puck behind their net or along the boards.

yea he was uncharacteristically bad tonight. He was pissing me off on the power plays when he kept failing to hold the puck in.

i definitely had a problem with Brown on that first goal. what was the second one, Versteeg? i'll have to look at that one again.

i thought Simmonds played like a kid tonight... and Modin... wow, another one of those guys so incredibly skilled at those little things, and very smart. i would have loved to have had him in his prime.

and for the record... Sharp was NOT off side.

i don't think he was bad, i think part of Chicago's overall game plan tonight was to pressure him as much as possible.

he ain't fooling anyone anymore... that's a sign of respect for what he can do out there.
