This. Really gotta hope for the relative good health of other wingers.

Why on earth did the Avs not sign a decent top 6 forward (e.g. Ryder) or at least bring back Flash? It was obvious Mueller was shaky at best.

Yea, yea the rebuild with youth ... call me 'still' skeptical at this point.
Ryder blows. He only shows up in the PO.

First...I really hope this is nothing major and Mules can play again, best wishes of a speedy recovery.

Second...I do believe it's time we take a look at a trade for a top 6 guy. I don't know who and what we can offer, but we seriously lack any depth in top 6 forwards and we are 1-2 injuries away from an anemic offense. Essentially its something that should be evaluated sooner, rather than later.

It's really unfortunate Flash got a blood clot, I feel like that's the only reason he didn't stay with the Avs.

I doubt avs management was willing to pay flash close to what he got from the panthers and I bet that management was hoping that mules would be back to playing how he did with duchene before getting that first concussion.

Peter Meuller

Is there any talk as to when he will be back? Days, weeks, months? He seems like he has so much potential but so many health issues.

No. But if I had to guess, I'd say not within the next two weeks, assuming he comes back at all.

Now, Dater might have addressed this and I just completely ignored him with his whole "we KNOW the Avs consulted such and such about Mueller" rambling. But do we know if Mueller has been practicing at all since they sort of shut him down?

It's really unfortunate Flash got way overpaid by the Panthers. That's the only reason he didn't stay with the Avs

I thought they had concerns about his health at high altitude. That's why we didn't even try to re-sign him

Fleischmann must love Sherman. Avs trading for him probably made him $6M or so over the next four years.

I find it weird that Dater tweets that it he's just feeling under the weather, yet Chambers' blog about practice says it's either an injury or illness.

Chambers probably posted the blog before they got official word.

Put Mueller as the second line center please. Let him fly some pucks into the net with his wicked shot.

Fingers crossed for Mules to have a successful comeback. Kind of a weird situation though.

This would be retarded and thankfully is not going to happen.

Bizarre situation. He goes from not skating at all to all of the sudden going full out practice with contact and "flying" out there.

Hope he comes back. Would give us a legitimate 2nd line threat with

Mueller-Galiardi-Jones

Keep the first and third lines the same since they've been good.

What the avs are doing to Mueller is wrong. They rushed him back twice now, they even let him practice the next day after he had PCS. The medical staff should by fired and the NHL should fine the avs.
