I thought the one with the cupid statue was funny....I think that's from the second game, can't remember. This one just seems alittle too gratuitous and not very clever.

Check out the demo from the Sony Press conference at E3 in 2009

Keep in mind this is from Summer of 2009

Looks like sales should be excellent. 500k pre-orders this week in North America, beating out Pokemon Heat Gold / Soul Silver.

ummmm, after the 1st 20 minutes I can safely say I've never seen anything like this in a game before. Whatever God of war 2 had in scale GOW 3 had already trumped it 10 fold in the 1st 20 minutes.

Im picking up my copy after work. Unfortunately I don't have any free time to play it til thursday. I intend on spending the entire day recovering from the St. Paddys day hangover with Kratos killing everyone and everything.

I would buy it but I don't want to further neglect FF13, BC2, and Dragon Age. That...and I hate going to the room my PS3 is in.

Let me know if it as beyond a must-buy.

Man, I've been trying to download the demo for a while now, but it never installs correctly. I keep getting install errors and corrupted data. I think my hard drive is crapping out.

Yeah this game kicks so much ass it is ridiculous. I'm only about an hour in and there has been so much epicness.

The scale of just the first hour is unlike any game I've ever played, just unbelievable.

I've been thinking of putting this off because I have other games to finish first. A few people have commented, but is this a "stop whatever games you are playing and kick this one's ass" kinda game?

Pretty boring, IMO.

Dante's Inferno 2.0. I guess I expected better fighting gameplay. I don't like spamming square and triangle, really.

If you like storylines and details with good graphics, enjoy it...but the gameplay itself, not entirely great to my liking.

boring?

sheesh ...that sounds rediculous to me, but whatever.

the first 30 or 40 mins of this game are ****ing amazing. it's like playing a cinematic cut scene. i'm amazed at the size and detail of the levels ...the character details ... amazing looking.

best looking game out right now, imo. i haven't seen anything that comes near this ...pc or not ...i haven't seen anything like some of the stuff in this game. i thought Uncharted 2 looked good, i thought killzone 2 looked good ...nothing made my eyebrows rise and me crack a smile while playing it like this did. it's almost to the point of rediculous at times with how cool it gets.

the combat system is awesome, too ...better than it was in the previous games for sure. it's actually up there with Ninja Gaiden 2, imo ...which was something i wasn't expecting.

should you drop everything now and play GOW3? hell yes!

When Kratos, Zeus and Gaia are talking in end the, Zeus says: "Perhaps you should have chosen the other one." Who does he mean, or are they just paving way for another game?

Dante's Inferno is a piece of **** rip-off of God of War. Calling this Dante's Inferno 2.0 is like saying the song Simple Man was written by Shinedown

Anyway, I just beat it. I'm speechless. All I can say is epic.

I need to know approximately how many heads are ripped off in this game before I buy it. This is a must.

Also, screw the blades, MIKE TYSON BOXING GLOVES FTMFW!

The game actually keeps track of your kill count as you progress through the story. The IGN reviewer cited 1746 total kills in his playthrough.

Played the first hour last night. Wow, just epic.

The battle with Poseidon was just awesome at the start and finishing him off was very satisfying.
