I was really impressed with his potential. I think he's going to really take off next year. For his age he looks really good. Most 20-year-olds are still playing junior. It's good to keep that in mind.
That's a tough question. He's so young, it's hard to know what he'll become down the line. But he's got all the tools. He's got speed, good hands, and his size is not an issue. I stood right next to him and his listing of 6'0" is not a stretch by any means, in fact, if I had guessed, I would have thought he was taller. He could stand to put on a little weight, but what 20-year-old couldn't? Offensive skill doesn't grow on trees. This kid's got it and there's nothing in the rest of his game holding him back. He just needs a little time.
I'm trying to think of a prospect to compare him to, there's no one in the Thrashers stable comparable. Actually, it's funny, he reminded me of Coach Olver's son Darin who plays for Northern Michigan and is eligible for this year's draft. Both on and off the ice.
