This site is BS man.

We might have problems getting our guys signed this summer, how on earth are we supposed to take in an extra 9.7 million in cap space? That was never going to happen.

Also, both Sharp and Huet are not what they once were. Sharp's scoring has gone down in the past few seasons and Huet is having a bit of a tough year.

Actually itgoes on to say that Chicage was going to pay a lartge chunck of Huet's salary somehow.

Not sure how that can work and why I questions this article /blog

They would have had to taken on Laraque and more to take on both those salaries.

What world do these guys live in?

I'd do Halak for Sharp in a heartbeat.

Edit : Considering salary, maybe not.

Id take Huet back , on waivers.

Never had a problem with the guy ,but now with his bigtime salary(thanks Montreal expecations are high and he aint attractive )

Come back Huet on waivers(or unless you take one of our big contacts back in return).

I could probally swallow 1 year of 5.6 million Huet ,if he resigned for 3 million his next contract.

Huet is puzzling. For once he's on a contender and has a #1 job and he puts in one of his worst seasons. I'm a fan of his, but there's no way we could fit him under the cap.

Also, this deal is pure fantasy. Hockey30 wants some hits.

It's not that he's putting in a bad season, he's just not that good.

Bogus article. They state that the Blackhawks whould have paid half of Huet's salary which is impossible under the CBA.

Unless there is some sort of loophole I didn't think this was allowed anymore? Anyway the Habs would have to shed a lot of Salary to fit Huet and Sharp in..Even adding someone like Hamrlik in the deal with Halak it would still be hard for the Habs to fit them in.... I think that rumor is pure BS....

This site has the same amount of credibility as this guy (0):

http://blogues.canoe.ca/pcaisse/gene...-transactions/

Now since their admin wouldn,t let me post how I felt about that Patrick Caisse when I called him out on his bs frolov rumor. I wrote this comment and felt better. Very subtle though, else they would have deleted it like the others and my boiling blood would remain. Anyway! Had to share

Go_Habs_Go1 dit :

continue ton bon travail patrick!!Merci de me publier

It's one thing to be a BS site, but give yourself a little credibility by at least coming up with a legit trade that would work Cap wise....this is just pure stupidity.

I'm kind of mad of having given that guy some hits.

But I just think that it's bogus. You can't pay salary the way it is described. No basic explanation was given unless you count the basic "nuh hu" in the comments as part of the explanation as to how the Hawks can pay Huet's salary.

I love how anyone can say anything and say that their source is credible.

Load of bull simply because as far as I remember there is no way for a team to keep part of a contract. Nice try but give it a better shot next time.

If true, the "+" is something pretty significant. It would definitely involve Hamrlik, I think.

The fact that they don't do it themself looks to me as a sign as they are nobody's.

Hockey30 isn't a viable rumour site.

This part pretty much shows you why:

Quote:
The CBA doesn't allow teams to pay parts of players salaries as part of trades anymore. This has been the case since the lockout.
