I'm a UConn alum so obviously I don't have a dog in the fight this year. But in a lot of ways the tourney is almost better that way, instead of stressing about who the Huskies will play, and hoping the tough draws in their bracket get upset, I can just sit back and enjoy the tournament and the inevitable great games (especially the first weekend).

I've always kind of liked Villanova going back to the championship when they beat G'Town, plus them being a Philly team like the Flyers. I'll be rooting for Nova and really hope all the Big East teams do well; I hate teams like Syracuse and Pitt when they're playing UConn but they're in our conference so I like to see them win when they play outside the Big East.

And I hope Duke loses of course.

Well that's who I'm choosing in my pool, and St. Joe's isn't in the tourney, so... Go Kentucky.

I joined. Picking BU to win it all. The Terriers are usually pretty good at hockey. Basketball can't be all that different, right?

I'll get around to joining. I think I lost by like one point last year.

Temple with the 3-peat A-10 champions. hell yes. Bring on the bracket show at 6pm.

Should be interesting to see where Temple and Nova get seeded. Villanova should be one of the best teams in the country, but since the start of February, something happened and we just fell apart. Meanwhile Temple's just been on a roll winning 10 in a row I believe en route to the A-10 championship.

The Wildcats probably could've scratched their way back to a #2 if they gave a better showing in the Big East tournament, but losing to Marquette was just terrible...quite absurd too, considering that out of all the quarterfinalists, Marquette was the most favorable matchup for them, being undersized and soft. I was more concerned about running into Georgetown in the semis, never thought they'd have even a problem with the Golden Eagles. Maybe that's why they lost, they were either looking ahead and not focusing on the game at hand, or they weren't taking it seriously and wanted to rest up for the Big Dance rather than play two more games on consecutive days.

Hopefully they can turn it around knowing that they can't afford to lose any more games, and get their confidence back by beating on some lower mid-major 14 seed in the first round. It's all going to come down to the draw. If their side of the bracket is filled with strong physical teams, they may be in trouble, but if it's soft teams who play up-tempo, it'll work to their strengths.

I don't know as much about Temple, but they have a good resume. If they get a decent draw, they could make their way to the Sweet 16 or beyond.

For seeing almost every Temple game this season I can pretty confidently say they got absolutely ****ED in the ass by the committee. #5 seed really?

At the very least we shouldve swapped iwth wisconsin. Oh well, **** the haters.

Wow, the Selection Committee was quite generous to Villanova. They haven't been playing like a #2, and there isn't even a threat on their side of the bracket. Looks like a rematch with Duke in the E8, that'd be something.

Strange how the weakest #1 seed in Duke has really an easy path to the regional final, while Kansas, the strongest #1 is in a bracket of death.

I don't really see that happening, at all.

The only way it COULD happen is if Fernandez / Allen get into foul trouble early.

He went on to put Cornell into the Elite 8 I think.
