I am really hoping for a good solid effort and a win from the Thrash, but I really cannot tell how this game will pan out against a good solid team such as Nashville. I will be at the game tonight! Does anyone have any info regarding Kane's injury and if he will play tonight?

GO THRASHERS!!!!!!!!!

C-Viv will probably post something today on the AJC blog. CT scan today. He apparently left the game on Sunday wearing a boot and using crutches, so that doesn't exactly sound promising.

According to Ben on BLB, Schubert and Kane did not skate this morning. So, if Kane is playing it will probably be a gametime decision - but I'm betting no. And, if his foot IS broken, then he's probably done for the rest of the year.

I really hope after that piss poor effort against the Canes we can at least play with some passion.

Not really in a good mood after giving away my tickets to tonight's game, due to a mandatory work meeting.

Preds - 4
Atl - 2

Schubert has a pulled muscle in his hip and will miss 3 weeks. No callup today, maybe tomorrow
Cheli?

Looks like Kozlov and Boulton are the scratches again tonight which means same lines for the Thrashers as Thursday.
Not so sure if this is a good move, but we'll see...

Piss poor move on JA part. This imbasol is costing us the playoffs. Back to the same ole JA.

Whoever... wait... ANY nhl coach that would play a scrubby garbage defensemen in the midst of a playoff run, when you have a choice to call up a future superstar whom actually plays amazing now, should be fired on the spot.

And why Todd White is in over Kozlov, i'll never never ever ever understand. No one here can explain it to me.

Anderson doesn't want to be in the playoffs. Good thing i got LOST incase of a blowout again.

ugh...Popovic actually hasnt been that bad...but you refuse to see that with your agenda

future superstar Kulda? who's played AMAZING? AMAZING? dude, he played about 20 total minutes in his 2 games, barely 6th-man minutes...and you did notice he even had a few shifts skipped right? i'm optimistic with Kulda, but slow down with the accolades

I do agree on the point about Kozlov, though.

He may play with a chip on his shoulder, and considering every point is badly needed, he wouldn't be bad to have available in a shootout. Is White that much better? No.

.....And I'd take todd White over Kozlov anyday. kozlov's only good for PP and shootouts. otherwise, he's clearly lost a step. White, while being streaky as all get-out, can at least still keep up. Remember, this is the Kozlov nobody was interested in at the deadline... not the one who could easily put up 60-70 points a season.

WOW. Popovic is not good at ALL! He's been worse than awful.

Kulda has been amazing every single second he was on the ice. His assist and +1 speaks for himself 'with his barely 6th man minutes'.

I'll call it here first. He will be a shut down defensemen in the future aka a superstar.

Quote this and take it to the bank if your a betting man.

DW didn't mention anyone calling about White either. This is the Todd White of this season with 23 points and a -15, not the Todd White of last season who had a career best 73 points.

if kozlov doesn't get it, then the only forward i'd be comfortable with calling up to play in the stretch for kane would be crabb. it's too risky to call up anyone else who has never had ice time down here.

for a defense on thursday, i'd rather see chelios than kulda.

Crabb would be a good call up but i seriously doubt they would call up a forward with 3 already in the press box

yeah, but it was also common knowledge Kozlov waived his NTC and was available. Todd White's salary scares most bidders away. White was never the subject of trade rumors, unless added as a salary dump. White can easily rebound and have a 50 point season next year. Kozlov, while not bad over the past few seasons, clearly hit the wall this year.

Now, about Kulda..... Kulda's good, but there's no reason to rush him. I'm sure he or Vishnevski will get call up over the next couple days. Popovic is servicable though. The good thing about using a Popovic is you know how he's going to react, and he's practiced with the team all season. he's not having to learn anything at the end of the season.

I fully expect to see Kulda/Vishnevski and Sterling/Machacek to be called up soon.
