.....And I'd take todd White over Kozlov anyday. kozlov's only good for PP and shootouts. otherwise, he's clearly lost a step. White, while being streaky as all get-out, can at least still keep up. Remember, this is the Kozlov nobody was interested in at the deadline... not the one who could easily put up 60-70 points a season.
Couldn't they manage Slava's minutes. Restrict his ES time (if he is that much of a liability, I don't think he is) and maximise his PP time.
WOW. Popovic is not good at ALL! He's been worse than awful.
Kulda has been amazing every single second he was on the ice. His assist and +1 speaks for himself 'with his barely 6th man minutes'.
I'll call it here first. He will be a shut down defensemen in the future aka a superstar.
Quote this and take it to the bank if your a betting man.
it's time to break the old standby out again...
i like kulda as much as the next guy, but seriously?
you'd be a fool not to realize popovic has played decently for a bottom pairing guy recently. you're acting like kulda broke up 25 3 on 1s where ovechkin, malkin, and crosby were the guys coming down ice.
Man Jim Slater is soooo bad. He blows when he aint benefitting from someone elses good play. Lucky it's not 2-0. I don't know if i want him re-signed here next season. He looks to be back to same old Slater.
Unbelieveable... another penatlty.
