ECHL on Sportsclubstats

I have submitted the form to the sportsclubstats to get the ECHL added to the site. I plugged in 56% for home team advantage, and 11% for amount of games that normally go to OT. Both of these variables I calculated based on this year's echl stats. I will try to keep this as current as possible until the end of the season.

8 teams in the American conference and 7 in the National qualify. Division leaders are seeded 1,2,3 in the American, 1,2 in the National. First seed in the national gets a first round bye.

RPI (Ratings Percent Index) is the same system in use by NCAA basketball which is a strength of schedule calculation. 25% of the rating is made up of the team's winning %, 50% of it is their opponent's record, and the remaining 25% is their opponent's opponents record.

RPI = (WP * 0.25) + (OWP * 0.50) + (OOWP * 0.25)
