rozy like girardi has worn out his welcome here, neither is in the wade redden completely useless club, both both are constantly beaten by faster skaters, are not nearly physical enough, and are caught watching the play

Like i said we keep staal, MDZ, gilroy, we give mcdonagh a chance, maybe potter or heikkenen, and we sign a veteran d-man who can log 2nd pair minutes, and maybe a 7th d-man as well

redden we waive, girardi can go wherever via ufa, and dump rozy somewhere, maybe for some picks if possible

XthedoodX - I think along the same lines. The deadwood is not being cleared out fast enough. Ridiculous to want to retard the recovery and the improvement by keeping guys like R & R. The sooner they are out, by hook or by crook, the better.

But once the puck crosses that line, it becomes a blame game with everyone on the ice.
Shame on him for being passionate.

Its not like he running out of the crease yelling at people or slamming his stick over the crossbar then curing at Girardi..

This team acts like it's still going through the motions one game it's air tight defense and no scoring, the next is sloppy play and high scoring games. The defense and backchecking was down right pathetic. The power play was pathetic. Torts was out coached the whole game as the Devils had Parise and company matched up against Redden and Gilroy all game long. The 4th line got caught out there against their top line which resulted in a goal. And the 3rd period felt like a pre-season game, the place was quiet, the Devils just dumped and sat back and the Rangers gladly dumped the puck back in and had like what 2 shots in the first 13 minutes. I left so I'm not sure how the game ended at that point, I'm done with this team, anyone wanna buy my tix for any remaining game pm me I'll sell them at face value and if you live close enough to me I'll personally drive to your place that's how desperate I am to get rid of them.
Torts is doing a great job with this club, eh?

Should've been sellers? Duh.

Hank too deep? Whatever! The guy is the ONLY one out there!!! AT ALL

Redden? Don't get me started.

Rozi? Pfffffffffffffff

Griardi? I like the guy but WTF??!!!!

You give Hank a DECENT D and he's a Vezina finalist... what does that tell you?!!!

This team can't score and can't play D.

That was an absolute thing of beauty. That goal and delicious pulled pork were the sole diversions in an otherwise totally upsetting, yet not entirely unexpected game

Yeah that move by Christensen was sick. Why did Torts break up the Dubinsky-Christensen-Gaborik line? That was the best line the rangers had all year and he broke it up for no good reason.

I don't know, the 1st line from tonight didn't seem too bad either. The problem is the horrible Defense.

Not that we would've done anything with a powerplay anyway, but I feel the refs totally turned the momentum of this game.

Del Zotto gets hooked while off balance and coughs up the puck in the middle of the ice leading to a breakaway. No call. It doesn't matter that he was already off balance. He was turning and got HOOKED. No call. Minutes later Redden swings his stick for the puck, misses, and his stuck gets caught on the players side for less than half of a second on a play along the boards and they call a hook. Devils score on the powerplay and take the lead back.

Really sick of the inconsistency. It never ceases to bother me. I guess it's a good thing this team is total crap anyway and I won't have to worry about the horrible officiating costing them a cup or anything.

Redden should not still be wearing the Rangers jersey. It's a disgrace. That's all I have to say.

Like Herb Brooks could have done much better. This team has no talent sans Gaborik, and the D is either green or totally overpaid. This year has been toast for a long time...it's just a shame the organization couldn't admit it..

What'd Shelley do to get a 10-minute misconduct? I missed the game.

Lets be honest, he'll get cheap with Christensen and not re-sign him because Christensen wants $1mil per and Sather will only go to something like 950K, and then he'll go spend $4mil and hand a no trade clause to some bum half as productive and cancerous to the lockerroom.

I agree, he deserves a better team, this team is a disaster, no sense of urgency, no heart, gutless...Torts changes the system every game and lines every shift...

This teams defense will never improve until we rid ourselves of Rozy and Redden. Dolan will not ban them to Hardford and have to pay them all that $$$$.

...funny/not funny how Girardi joined the R&R boys...

is it because now he doesn't even use his size anymore (not he did all that much in the first place)?

For the money he is making I expect better results with what we've got on D. We scored 3, it should be enough for W. End of story. Should we have a better defense the shutout would be in order. Or one goal. Two with Redden as is. Not 5.

Gaborik is to blame for defense lapses as well. His positioning in our zone is puzzling to say at least. What was he doing on Prospal's side? Is groin injury preventing him from going up the point on his D?

he is being paid to be the best goalie in the league. Plus the goal support last night was more than enough as well.

very true
