We gotta win this game. I really hope we don't fall asleep on them. I'm scared.

Halak`s record against inferior teams is pretty solid. Something like 11-1 IIRC

As i love to do, i'm going to spin this the other way and look at the positive aspect of Maxwell's current situation. No he hasn't shown much. Yes, White would probably have fitted in better. However, Maxwell can only improve and gain confidence as an NHL player by playing on a team that's winning and with a couple of players that have a boatload of confidence. Sure it has been a slow maturation, but i think he'll be a player that once he gets it, he'll be a really solid player. Its easier for players who are already physical to come into the league and fit in right away. For players who aren't, it's definitely a longer process, and Maxwell is one of those players. He just needs to be stronger along the boards and quicker in his decision making. Look at Andrei right now and at the beginning of the season; he's having the exact same kind of problems. His confidence in his decision making is not there. We all know though, that after a while he just "got it" and he was off to the races. Maxwell needs that goal or scoring play where he gets his confidence going--i think if we just give him a chance it will happen.

you should have the title of a Habs fan ripped from you !

3-2 Habs in a shootout ! it will be a very close game, P Quinn's team always play a close game against the Habs, expect Edmonton to try and intimidate the Habs early.
Everyone remember they want to finish last, we want to finish first.

sorry, not much of a board guy, but what does IIRC stand for?

and for tonight, i believe if the habs come out flyign as they did against the lightning they will succeed in the win. but if they get too cocky and edmonton slips one by halak, our confidence can break mighty quickly and the oil can gain theres quickly as well..
GO HABS!
akost will own tonighttt

No french canadian goalie in net! Halak facing a very underwhelming team (He normally owns bad teams), coming off a 5 goal game... Getting my free wings from the tampa game tonight at the bell center Cage au Sports... hoping to go back there tomorrow!

Everything is pointing to a win, but thats when you have to be most careful!

Habs have to be careful with w team like Edmonton who has no pressure and a bunch of kids trying to prove they belong on the NHL.

Mind you, the Oil are not likely to be wanting to play spoiler as they have the #1 pick all but locked up. I just hope we don't take them too lightly and get the points we NEED!!

This is a game that we should win. Will we? I don't know, but I sure as hell hope so.

Hoping for another big night from the Gomez line.

Hopefully tonight is the night we completely dominate a team we're clearly better then. Motivation? How about the shelacking they put on us last year around this time. I think the final score was like 7-2...

This is a good game to see if the Habs have changed.

In the past we would struggle to win if not lose this type of game.

In the battle for a playoff spot, there is no excuse to lose.

4-1 Habs!

Tell me about it. Doesn't it get exhausting to be a debbie downer all the time?
