Leggo is senior. Leggo is a poor skater, Lee average. Leggo is a very loose caller, Lee is moderate. Both have some control issues. Neither is noted for score calling. Leggo tend to swallow the whistle in the third, Lee does not. Minimal advantage to the home team from both. Lee has a high safety rating, Leggo is very low. Leggo's numbers are supported by reviews on safety. Leggo is also noted for the ref least likely to make a call creating a 5on3.
Recent games have seen Leggo almost never blow the whistle, he is has been taking the definition of loose to a new level. At some point, I expect the league to say something at which point it will be "watch out". Lee is noted for being extremely inconsistent in his calls.
Anyways, just thought I'd share that we have no idea which Preds team shows up tonight. It is not like they are playing incredible one game and bad another. It is just one game they will absolutely dominate puck possession, come away with no goals to show for it, and then the other team score on a counter-attack because of a bad breakdown at the blueline. Or we will score and get up 2-0, and then stop trying to score for the rest of the game.
This is a big game for the Preds (as if there aren't any non "big" ones this late in the year). They need to get going early rather than try to weather the Sharks storm for the first 10 minutes, which we seem to do all too often here lately.
Good luck to you guys, hope Weber plays. We need him with Grebeshkov also being out...
