hmm.. 6-5 win for us with Stammer notching his 43rd, Vinny playing his balls off and netting 1, Purcell with 1, Thompson with 1, and even Tanguay with 1.
and Hedman with huge hit on Kessel just so he isnt outdown by his fellow Swede.
Hey, I can dream.
PS. Smith pulled at first intermission after giving up 4 in the first. Niitty comes in and plays his balls off but lets in one softy
I have no real hopes for this game, our goaltending is horrid at the moment, we can score five times and still lose..
I have to disagree, our goaltending isn't horrible its average. Our defense is horrible. I think this team will give up the rest of the way, a clear reflection on Tochett and Lawton.
They will win tonight to get everyones hopes back up..Get 1 point with loss to the Caps in a SO moving them even closer to the number 8 spot..so they can get the fans hopes up even more... Playoffs...playoffs...Playoffs!!!
Then they will drop a number of games in a row and crush everyones hopes again...
Spoke to rookie defense Victor Hedman about his drop-off in play, especially from his high-caliber start. He agreed he has not been at his best --he is minus-7 his past six games -- but said it was his inexperience that is causing the dip. Asked if he was feeling any fatigue in his first NHL season, Hedman, who said the most games he has ever played in the Swedish elite league was in the 50s, said no. "I fee well-rested," he said. "I have a lot of energy. You make some mistakes sometimes, but it's not because I'm tired, maybe because of a lack of experience and stuff." Coach Rick Tocchet said Hedman needs to be stronger around the corners and in front of the net, but did not rule out Hedman, averaging 21:34 of ice time, might have hit a wall.
Losing to the Leafs is like when an NBA fan's favorite team loses to the Nets. It's just heartbreaking. I don't want to feel that tonight.
That hurts. Don't worry, you won't lose.

I wanted to go to tonight's game but the pair I found were $400. Next year I will fulfill my lifelong dream of watching and following Stamkos around the city.

Has shirt guy solved his love crisis yet?
No crisis my dear.
Vinny and Purcell look fantastic together. Vinny actually looks like he cares, and creative, using his size, etc.
