Anyone that even mentions the blown go\no-goal calls is fooling themselves. We dominated this game for 40 minutes, then came out for the third and completely shut it down. We went back to a passive trap, moving away from the attacking forecheck that had been so successful. We started trying to bomb passes up the middle, rather than getting it in deep and working it through.

I really don't even know what to say. This is two of our last three games that we pissed away, and the second straight to the Sharks.

Calgary won, now tied with us in points(we have a game in hand, which I'm expecting we'll lose, tomorrow). Detroit won, and is one point behind us.

I can't stomach another ninth place, 12th overall draft pick year. This game could be a season killer, I'm afraid.

PS: Erat's worst game of the year. He was back in early season form. Suter and Weber were right there with him. Most of our forwards actually played pretty well for most of the night, at least in the offensive zone.

Well, glad I stayed up for this one.

Ellis had no chance on three of those goals! Not saying he played great, but he certainly can't be blamed for at least 2 if not 3

That's ridiculous. Rinne cost us his last start, and Ellis was outstanding against Atlanta. It's a guessing game every night with our goaltending--one of our supposed strong points. Neither is consistent, and you never know what you're going to get. All you can do is roll the dice on what appears to be the hot hand. That was Ellis, coming into tonight.

Agreed. Just a little upset that we lost this game. I had to blame somebody real quick and unfortunetly I was looking at Dan's face. It was a team effort and the team should take the blame. Ill calm down in a little bit.

well the problem is that Ellis may not have been at fault directly for some of the early goals, but man someone has to step up and steal the game in the big moment when the team needs it the most, and we havent had that all season.

****ing pissed.

I hate being teased into believing we might actually get some points, only to be taken out like that. Predators again, played wonderfully for 40 minutes and then fell the **** asleep.

****.

It's called Call of Duty or NHL 10 where I can make sure Erat can't become the Czech word for "turnover"

Good luck the rest of the way. You guys dominated pretty much the whole game. You guys made the Sharks look like pee wee kids.

I don't know what woke up the sharks.

I don't think Nashville has a game in hand, do they? NHL.com has Calgary and Nashville at 67 each. This is a pretty intense race to the finish line between these three teams ... St. Louis seems to be hanging around in the rear-view mirror, too.

I have no idea how they let the Malholtra goal stand when we got one waved off either this season or last season on the same exact thing with Arnott trying to stop going to the net and the puck went off his skate in the same exact way it went off of Malholtra's.

The Predators don't get calls when they go through Toronto.

That's ****ing ********! 6 goals allowed in the damn third period!! We were up by 2 it was only natural SJ would come out pressing and maybe we allow 1 or 2, but not 6!!

Predators played so great in the first 2 periods. The PP looked like an actual NHL powerplay. Wilson got another goal (Hey Colin, it's OK to score at home, too!! Only 1 of his goals were at home). If they played like this more often we'd have more wins. Preds just dominated.

Then, inexplicably stopped. Did they think the Sharks would just roll over? Some ******** calls and can't get a ****ing timely save when we need it! Preds were all over them and they just go down and one shot and it's in.

The worst part about all of this is that we were in position to win (or at least get a point) in all 3 losses vs sj this year. And we blew ALL of them in the third period.

Play like this they don't deserve to make the playoffs.

It was Arnott off of a centering pass from Hornqvist against Colorado in the opening game this season I do believe.

Sounds like it's a good thing I just decided to go to bed and miss the game live. Had I watched the first two periods I would have most likely decided to stay up for the third. After that third period, though, I'd most likely not get any sleep from being so utterly pissed off.

From the sounds of it the boys dominated the first two periods, but once again we couldn't muster a sixty minute performance. What happened to the team that we saw through that 25-30 game stretch who played responsible hockey while scoring plenty of goals? Can we have them back please?

I think Suter played possibly his worst game as a Predator tonight. Definitely since his rookie season. Pavelski was his daddy tonight.
