Per PredsRadio Hedberg is in net for ATL tonight.

Thrashers and Predators TV analysts will swap roles in 2nd period tonight. Darren Eliot will do NAS, Terry Crisp will do ATL.

What happened between last week and this week ST3539? Nice effort on the GDT.

Thank you, I edited the original post to reflect the goaltender!

Also, that's very interesting. I look forward to hearing the swapped analysts!

Last week you jumped in cuz nobody else did. You said you couldn't do any of the graphics and such and just went with a "Go Preds" or something like that. Now this week you're all geeked up and lookin good. Did you take a computer class?

after losing two straight the thrashers are in pretty much a must win situation every night until they get back into the top 8. they will be added by boston losing savard and having a game in hand on most teams but still need to play at least .700 hockey the rest of the way to ensure a spot.

hope for a good game tonight.

I don't know where Chris B. got his d-pairings for his game-day preview, but I'd be very surprised to see the team hit the ice like that...

Franson will not play first-unit minutes alongside Suter. I'd honestly suspect that Trotz pairs Franson and Sulzer together since they've been playing together in Milwaukee for a while now.

Expecting the d-pairs to be:
Hamhuis - Suter
Bouillon - Klein
Franson - Sulzer

Ohhh, hahah. I actually can do all this stuff (got my own website) but I was dumb and thought that there was some special template that people used instead of just compiling it all together. So when I saw some "lowly" people like myself (as opposed to the moderators) start the GDT I thought "oh, so there's no special template."

Thank you though!

Sweet mother of mercy...

If we field those pairings, we might be lucky to give up only three or four goals.

Yeah I think the pairings will be closer to what we saw against Vancouver with Sulzer taking Grebs's spot.

Suter - Hamhuis
Klein - Bouillon
Sulzer - Franson

Expect the top two pairings to take a huge amount of minutes.

The moderators of the Predators forum want to make it perfectly clear that we do not have the best of records when starting a GDT, therefore we stay clear whenever possible...

Our fellow users have done an exceptional job over the years creating some of the best GDT's on the entire site and we look forward to the continued creativity of the community to create GDT's.

In other words, please don't make us do them!!!

Here in NC, I'm able to watch most of the Thrashers games on either Fox Sports South or SportsSouth, but of course...neither is showing the game tonight...

Here's a stream to Pete and Terry though...

Early start and a lethargic fan city makes for lots of empty seats. I think I counted everyone already.

I knew the Thrashers were having problems, but this is just nuts. This is an AHL turnout.

Great shot by Suter.

Hornqvist sent in on a breakaway, stuffed by Hedberg who came out to challenge while Patric was trying to gain full control of the puck...still 1-0 Preds midway through the first...

A great pass by Goc to spring Hornqvist, and then he fans on the shot. Good play, though. That line seems to be clicking well so far.
