Awesome game by the guys!

Lundin was a our best d-man tonight, really played well. Hedman had a weak game again..

I think all forwards played well tonight and Parrish had by far his best game for us, tonights best player? Vinny! He played well and even better, he worked really hard and won some key faceoffs!

we won...without the Stamkos line putting up a single point

Lose to the worst team in the east and then beat the best the next night

Good goaltending is pretty much the only way to stop the Caps offense. Niitty doesn't stand on his head early in the 2nd we lose. Lundqvist in the playoffs-esque that period.

I never thought I would see Matt Walker get 2 points in a game that Stamkos gets none.

For once Walker tried helping the team he plays for score goals, not the other team.

Its games like this that really piss me off about this team. They lose to the garbage teams in this league and then have a win like this so all the false hope comes back.

(And my opinion continues to hold water that if we were to get Washington in a 7 game series, we would give them a run for their money.)

We disagree on some things but this i fully agree with. If we can somehow sneak in, I wouldnt be scared out of my mind to be matched up against them. Im not saying we would win, but I think it would be at least 6 games and probably 7 and they would all be close.

Don't worry, we all still know that there is no hope. A win once every 8 games isn't exactly inspiring, even if it is against the Caps.

Couldn't watch the game and they beat the best team in the East. Happy though!
