Nino Neiderreiter

If we don't make the playoffs he is exactly the kind of player we need

if we do make the playoffs, we must trade Little to get in position to draft him, So impressed/stoked on this kid, he has to be a Thrasher.

...Is he even projected to go in the 1st or are you just excited that he's doing well in the WJCs?

His stock continues to rise but i am not sold on him yet. He will be a 10-20 pick in the 1st round. No need to trade Little for that pick.

Yea but trading Little is not the right thing to do since our season was ruined and Kovalchuk is most likely going to be traded.

Now we have to keep Little. I only wanted to trade Little because of what was suppose to happen. But since it's not happening we have to keep him and pray to the Lord he gains skills over night.

he's over thinking everything right now. his skills didn't just vanish. he's proven he can be an electrifying goal scorer, he just needs to go back to what he used to do

its all confidence....goal scorers have lots of it....it goes down sometimes though....as long as you work hard, it comes back....
so unless your questioning little's work ethic.......he'll be back...
el' nino looks promising....but to give up little for him? the kid has never even played a game in the big show....if you ever knew how many kids shine like stars in the jr. tourney and never amount to anything...you dont trade nhl talent like brian little, for a 17 year old kid.....

don't trade little, look at plekanec on montreal this year. he has a horrible season last year where it seemed like he couldn't do anything right and everyone wanted him out of town, this year he is second in the league in assists.

Yep, ppull need to be a bit cautious about getting to excited over players that have had a great WJC or Memorial Cup or whatever it is. These are short time frame tournys and easy for excitable fans to start creaming but things really need to be taken into perspective. Just like D Amigo on the USA team who had a great WJC, now it needs to be seen if he can perform long term. Neiterreiterorwronger could either be the right pick or the wrong pick but don't base everything on the WJC.

youd trade little to get a 1st rounder this year? the canes will take him off your hands for the later 1st round pick they may get by the deadline....i mean since your giving him away.

Unless the OP is the guy calling and emailing nearly every radio station in Canada talking about the guy---there looks to be interest in the guy

however--talking with a buddy who is a mod on another hockey board it looks like Nino Neiderreiter is going to be the guy a group of people get behind to see how much buzz they can create about him. I am not saying the OP is involved with these people--but for the last three drafts like clock work in Jan--a middle ranked draft player's name suddenly starts popping up on different boards and sites and a player who most rarely heard of suddenly starts getting mentioned far more then the scouts talk about him. Happens every year and I think Nino Neiderreiter has been picked this year for his name.

Wow who said we are trading Little for a first? I never said we would draft Nino that way. We can get him with our pick easily.

Dear Lord, dear hockey lords, dear luck... please land us Nino in the draft. His stock rose a lot but we may actually be able to land him now since we are tanking.

Enstrom isn't going anywhere. Counter offer.

Thrashers get a first from 10-15 for Oduya, NJD first, Valabik, and Mahacek, and Mannino.

I would like to think you for removing the oilers from the silliness of what people offer for the Leafs pick

but in this case--take out NJD first pick and put atlanta's in--they might consider it
