Good news from this season?

Well it looks like #30 will have a fighting chance at 30 wins for yet another consecutive season. With 27 wins and 14 games remaining it's certainly possible. Many a fans would contribute this type of accomplishment as a team record. Wrong! With our shotty defense in front of Henrik I think this is a testament to his true place as a top 5 goalie in the league. I can't think of many other goalies who'd come close to 30 on this team... for 5 straight years.

Can you imagine him on the Hawks? They'd have over 110 points by now.

Man look how much this team relies on him. Lundqvist has 27 of the teams 30 wins, so far this season. All other goalies that have seen ice time this season (Auld, Vally, Chad Johnson, Zaba) with a grand total of 3. Thats crazy. Then again, last season Vally only have 5 wins while Lundqvist had 38 wins.

Getting 30 goals 5 years in a row behind non-playoff level skaters is pretty amazing. If he had a better team in front of him, Qvist would've had 50 wins one of these seasons and 40 wins in every other.

Every season he's in the league Hank is going to win 30 games.

He is that good.

Lundqvist is good but not that good... He is a top 10 goalie in the world. No doubt about it... Him and Gaborik are the face of the franchise for years to come..

Good news from this season?

Proven just how bad Redden is, and that he has to go.

Proven that MDZ and Anisimov can handle the NHL and will progress.

Prospal.

That's about it.

Proven that the front office can sit back and laugh as the fans blindly pay to support a terrible product.

Cally & Dubi should both hit 20 goals... Dubi if he comes up short definitely would have had he not missed so many games from the injury.
