Nothing special. Unfortunately for the Bruins they bought into it and OVERPAID by alot. And they will pay for it for years.
Hmmm...this I'm not sure about. To be completely honest, I don't remember hearing about this, but we hated Mike Komisarek, obviously, so I imagine it could have been said by a few. For the record, I don't think many can argue that Lucic was a worse player than Komisarek, effectiveness-wise, on the ice last season.

And really, I'd love to know who's idea it is for us to get a 1 or 2 goal lead with about 12 to go and we play 1 up 4 back. REALLY?!? I HATE THAT!!!!!!! WHEN does it work??? WHEN??

ps I also hate it when Lucic scores on us. But I take solice in watching the clip of Orr busting his face!

Gee wonder who that could be.

Thought we played well enough, though they had a good stretch in the 2nd, and our usual hold on for dear life end of 3rd. Chara and Lucic sucked, which was great.

Spacek, can anyone seriously say he was good? At least he's consistent. 1st offseason challenge for Gauthier is getting rid of that contract.

Saweet! Thank you.

Don't know what the commentators were rambling about. Clean hit. It was weeeee bit late, but players are hit that late somewhere about 1-5 times every game.

Maybe don't admire your passes as much next time Lucy ?

Wow, the guy say it was a dirty hit... blind side. AK hit Lucic from the front, it is Lucic who do not keep his head up and he got nailed. And it was not a head shot too... it was a Lindros type hit and I love those hits...

The guy do not know anything...

I say thnk goodness for having 6 Bruins games on the schedule. Without those 10 points the Habs would be on the outside looking in.

The Habs scared me in both the 2nd and 3rd periods. They made those 2-goal leads look fragile.

The end boards deserve an assist on SKost's 2nd goal.

The 1st and 2nd lines didn't play as well as I had hoped. However, the absence of Savard probably hurt the Bruins more than the absence of Cammalleri hurt the Habs.

Pretty stupid commentators ruining a beautiful hit.

A. Kostitsyn could have easily nail Lucic with a good elbow to the face.. that would have been dirty but its not the case. A. Kostitsyn just caught him looking at his pass. Nothing close to dirty. I have no problem with the penalty called.. it was a bit late.. but i wouldn't look so bad if Lucic didn't admire his pass.

Clean hit, no matter what anyone says. Even a Bs fan would have a hard time proving it otherwise.

By the way, nice job tonight for taking care of buisness

Lol, if that was Lucic nailing AK I bet the B's would have loved it. It really was Lucic's fault for admiring his pass.

What's up with Lucic though, I know he's not 100% but wow, he looks like a shadow of his former self. Glad there is no Komi to spark him, Lucic does not look anything like that player we love to hate.

I was disappointed to see SK dropped to the 4th line, but it doesn't seem to matter since he scored twice anyway. Nice job Sergei. Good hustle on that icing save with about a minute to go

Loved AKs hit on Lucic. Nothing dirty about that hit at all. With all the Cooke crap lately I imagine the Bruins fans are whining big time. Truth is he got hit in the chest looking backwards. As for the timimg? Not late enough to be a cheap shot by any stretch

The Habs seemed to keep the Bruins bottled up with only 23 shots, most of them not that dangerous. Couple of nice saves in the 3rd by halak though. Quiet nite for the goalie by habs standards though

Things are definitely looking up. Love to take that 6th spot away from Philly

what a great game. love beating the bruins when we're tight in a playoff race. so good. skost had a dirty game, and has been playing some bigtime hockey. does so many right things on the ice, so nice to watch.

markov also played a sick game. hes been catching fire lately, and is starting to look like the marky of old. some beautiful play really.

moore. wow, he has been amazing for us. another great game.

the whole team is contributing right now, and the habs got it rolling. it's so much fun to watch the games right now. i cant wait for cammy to be back.

go habs go, bring on the rangers!

AK's hit on Lucic was not at all dirty. He was caught watching his pass and Kostitsyn didn't deliver a headshot or anything remotely close to it.
Players have to be more aware and responsible when they're on the ice to protect themselves.

LOL...I keep waiting for someone to say it and everyone to go nuts...that second color guy whom you all are criticizing?

Allright, brace yourselves:

It's Guy Carbonneau.

You don't happen to have the part where Milbury lambasts Millen for his commentary on the AK hit do you ?

We barely hear Carbonneau in that clip, only at the very end.

Millen (I think?) is the one going completely nuts here.

EDIT:
I listened to it again, and yeah he says something in the middle too about blindsiding him. Yeah I guess they were both pretty dumb there.

I watched RDS so I didn't see it either. But people were talking about it in the thread about AK's hit on the main board.

Oh...well I watched the CBC feed live, and Carbonneau is right there with Millen on calling out AK for the hit...

And, of course, Bob Cole is just kind of confused as to his surroundings...seriously though...put that guy out to pasture.
