Official IIHF 2010 WC Song

Basically the whole video is showing hockey. If you dont know who scooter is they are one of the most popular dance music artists.

I used to listen Scooter little bit in the 90's and IMO this one is their best song:

Is that the official music video? some of the effect are really cool. It's nice to have a huge band selling hockey like that. Free ads

EDIT: NVM just re-read the title...

There's a lot of clips of the Hungarian team from last year, which is odd because the Hungarians finished last and played in Division I this year.

Interesting song though, kind of fits in with hockey I guess.

Who's Justin Bieber?
He isn't well known in Germany and he's no German.

Needs more cowbell.

Would probably work better if I was sitting a Toyota Corolla (amiscorolla) with furry dices (karvanopat) hanging from the rearview mirror. Not forgetting the ridiculously oversized speakers with the bass set to 11.

actually I'm not sure of Scooter deserves to be tagged with any of "dance", "music" or "artists"...

Thank you.

I mostly associate the words "shouting", "noise" or "poser" with Scooter.

I'm still disgusted that they were chosen for the official WC Song.

Germans had to choose between Scooter and Hasselhoff, I'd personally take Hasselhoff any given day over Scooter.

Me neither, so thank you very much for your remark! Scooter certainly is successful, but I could not think of any more polarising German band. I despise both Rammstein and Tokio Hotel, but both should have been preferred to this funfair-techno trash...

Yep, I've noticed that the World Champs organization has chosen a goal song for every team from their respective countries.

Canada: Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams
USA: Born in the U.S.A. by Bruce
Finland: In the Shadows by The Rasmus
Sweden: Waterloo(?) by ABBA
Norway: Take on Me by a-ha
Denmark: Played-a-Live by Safri Duo
....

Anyone know any other goal songs played? I bet someone from the organizers thought this was such great idea, but it's starting to get really tedious. Luckily Finland has barely scored in the tourny, so In the Shadows isn't coming out my ears... yet.

Meh.. Every Scooter song sounds the same. They should gotten Rammstein (no chance getting them) or even Megaherz

I'm curious about this too, especially the not so well known countries like Latvia and Kazakstan....
Sweden's is Mamma Mia by ABBA.

But yeah, after watching the Can-Nor game I really got tired of Brian Adams....and I am Canadian

it's really depressing, that scooter was alowed to make the official song. it even hurts me more, that this blond nitwit baxxter obviously is far related with me.

sth of that quality should be the offical song:

100 players rejecting WC invites?

After hearing this song, I don't know how people could think that Scooter isn't to blame. That's ****ing terrible.

That sucks, they should have used House of Pain's "Jump Around", since DJ Lethal was born in Latvia. Either that or one of the less embarrassing Limp Bizkit songs. Guess they didn't even bother looking into anything, even BrainStorm, who placed third in Eurovision a few years ago would have been better.

As for the official Scooter song, I can see how parts of it can be catchy if you like this crap, but it's a bit too wussy for hockey, no? Rammstein would have been a much better choice.
