Yeah, sadly Slava's the only one we can actually depend on, but over the season, JA's made some weird SO orders.

i think it's been made pretty clear that kozlov, peverley, afinogenov is the best lineup we have. why isn't it ever the one we use?

because playing well consistently equates to winnings consistently. the best teams play well consistently and are at the top of the standings, but no team is undefeated. get it?

almost 16000 in the house. It was boring as hell until we scored. Then the crowd was into it. Last 3 games had bigger and bigger crowds. At least that was nice.

Bogo out with probably a broken hand.

Evander Kane came to speak to the Fan Club before the game, he is head and shoulders more mature and much better spoken than Zach Bogosian. He should wear the "A" instead and in a couple of years, he should be named Captain. The kid has so much poise it's incredible.

He just turned 18. Natural leader.

Props to JA for putting MacArthur, Antropov, and Little ahead of Afinogenov in the shootout. Also, thank goodness we had Todd White out there instead of Kozlov, God forbid we ever actually win a shootout.

Disguising the TANK initiative!

MacArthur's "move" was beyond dumbassery.

At ANY level........ANY level of hockey....Even beer league..... A goalie knows when they see that circle move come from a shooter that the player isn't controlling the puck, and you should simply poke check...

OT: Just curious. Who would (realistically) replace Anderson if the Thrashers would fire him?

Was being sarcastic, Afinogenov is far and away the best stickhandler on the team and should be our #1 shooter assuming Kozzy is out.

LOL. I saw what you did up there.

Some of us get it

As far as coaches to replace Mumbles.... I noticed Cunneyworth doing a lot of talking to guys last night and during a penalty kill stoppage, he was talking and motioning to Reasoner and Reasoner was shaking his head in agreement.

I'd think that anyone who was fired would be willing to come back to prove themselves.

Must have been SRO in the upper bowl then because the lower bowl on TV was half full again or a lot of people wore navy leather outfits to the game.

Corporate club-land (the side you see on TV) was empty as usual. The lower bowl on the ends and the other side were pretty full, as was the upper bowl on the other side. And the noise level per capita was higher than the norm. The team played well and created chances. Need more kids' days....kids are loud.

You don't see the club side on TV. The TV cameras are on the club side focused on the other side.

Season ticket prices next year have some big drops in some sections. It will be interesting to see if per game tickets go down as well.

ALG, towards the end of his time here, HiBob did more more damage than good. If JA is let go, the franchise needs to continue to go in a different direction.

Come to think of it, you are right. The non-club side looked pretty well populated to me though.

Believe it or not, Bobsled Gainey is actually a worse GM than Don Waddell. Absolutely not.

Yeah I'm not a fan as well. He never seemed to make a trade to improve the team (although Waddell is another who needs to be more pro-active in this area).
