In the words of the great puck prophet Adrian Peterson, it's time to play hockey!

Hah, I was at that game when he said that, it was hilarious, everyone was looking around like what is he saying?

Wild will win this since we always seem to play good at home.

To be fair though, it is also a home game for half the Blues' players. It's too bad they aren't Norris rivals anymore.

True, 3 or 4 players I think played high school hockey here? Blues are one of the better road teams, but I still think we will win, and I want them to win since I hate seeing them lose.

I think it's just three as Johnson, Backes and Oshie all played HS hockey in Minnesota but that's more than most teams can claim.

3-0 after one? Thought the Wild had a chance to win given St. Louis is on the second of a back-to-back, but I didn't see that coming at all.

I watched the majority of this game, but was doing some other stuff while watching. Lats goal was the one of the game, and Koivu's pass on the 4th goal was sick. Glad to see us pick up a win, yet it's hard to say that we are going to be able to get into the playoffs. I assume would have to get 22 more points, which is about 11-4? That's just for 94 points, who knows if that will even get us in?

I missed the last two periods, but looks like things went well enough and the Wild were competitive.

Harding was again great, if we have to include him in some sort of trade this offseason, hopefully closing out the season playing like he is right now will raise his trade value. I have no doubt that he can become a consistent starter in the NHL, but maybe we should just hang onto him, although we do have some decent goaltending prospects coming up with Hackett and Khudobin has been doing fairly well in the AHL.

We are stuck with Backstrom for another 3 year I think, and I don't know how his no trade clause is for, but he can still be a great goaltender, it sure looks like we are set at goaltending for a good while. Now we just need some forward prospects, but Lats has been on fire, I think I heard 9 goals in his last 13 games. Amazing, his goal last night was such a good pass by Havlat and he blazed past the Blues defender, hopefully he continues this pace.

It's unknown how long Backstrom will be out but at this point the team is taking it slow with him and showcasing Harding.

Figured this was going to happen. They would finally wake up and get false hopes going again

Probably will happen tomorrow too as they get Edmonton on the second of a back-to-back at home (where they have a twelve-game winning streak).
