It was a miracle that we didn't give up 5+ goals with the amount of perfect scoring opportunities and open nets Nashville had.

We got destroyed in this game and it was only pure luck that had us have a chance in the 3rd.

To be honest not a single line worked. Not one and what is terrifying is that none of the Olympians are playing better. They are all sucking! We cannot be a good team without JJ, Drew, and Quick getting back into the zone. You guys want to pick on Jones? Good god have you seen how JJ was playing? The man is a turn-over machine!
This. They need to pick things up if they don't want to get obliterated or miss the playoffs altogether.

They have not played well since after the Olympics. They keep this up and they can kiss the playoffs goodbye. Nothing is set and it wouldn't suprise me to see LA in the 7th-8th seed or out completely. Not being a debbie-downer, but that is the reality. For all the great things that certain players have done to get the Kings to this point, it would be all for not if they are now the reasons the team is failing.
Probabilistically speaking, the Kings are almost assured of making the playoffs.

That said, all I have to say about today's game is: ****.

And how can we get rid of Jones? He is one TM favorites
Kopitar wants to play as well. Williams showed a lot of intensity just no results. I would also like to point out that is once again an afternoon game that we lost. Hm.... How ironic? I definetly agree with you on Doughty and JJ. That 3rd goal should clearly have been blamed on Doughty.. Quick has to come out with better starts to the game. Another softie vs. this team. A bounce back win vs Blackhawks could sure give em a huge boost.

Those refs don't know goalie interference from a hole in the ice...

Our legs are downright gone against Atl right now, we had 4 shots in the first period. I expect the 4 spot to be up for grabs til the last game.

Although i have to see the replay (to be positive) the preds where WAAAAAAAAAY off-side which lead to the face-off in the kings zone which lead to the 3rd goal. If that's blown down, chances are the goal never comes about.

dont worry guys the coyotes wont win today. They are playing tired and weak and while the score is tied at 0 now, Atlanta is dominating the play.

That whole game is just annoying. Afternoon start, at home, so we know the Kings are behind the 8-ball before the drop of the puck. Plus it's against Nashville. Then you throw in the refs.

Where was the D on that 3rd goal?

Just shift after shift, other than a few shifts here and there, Nashville beat the Kings to and along the boards all game long.

Quick, short passes, and the Kings were doing the exact opposite.

It's good to feel something in March though.

You've got to admit that was a pretty big call. Obviously we have no way of knowing the outcome, but the game definitely would have been different had they called Nashville's second goal back.

Certainly, but it could have been different at any play, so it's irrelevent to go into a discussion of what if

Ha, we have Barbs in goal today. We played a late game last night and the early afternoon game today, plus the time difference. Not looking good...I would extremely pleased with 1 point. I watched part of your game today, and there should definitely be some review of a few of those calls.

Looking forward to battling for the 4 spot though the rest of the season

Yeah, bad call on the 2nd Nashville goal, but that thrid goal was 100% on Doughty.

Stupid pass up to the right point from behind his net, and stupidly left Hornqvist wide open in the slot.

Nashville's gap control is off the charts - their d are so good with their sticks that you can't make that clean second pass without immediate puck support. Only Modin and Handzus were able to carry the puck into their zone with full control.

So, we ended up with some guys making terrible cross ice passes that killed all momentum.

Don't blame the refs, blame the stupid decisions made by a handful of players.

True, but Nashville's second goal shouldn't have counted based on the precedent set by the refs just a few minutes earlier. It should have been 2-1 Kings with 13 minutes to go in the game.

Teams even win with direct calls that disallow their goals but gives the other team a goal that looked exactly the same like theirs? This was like a playoff game. If refs pull this S*** in the playoffs, some teams could possible be eliminated for stupid calls like that. It was at the wrong timing as well.. The Preds 3rd goal was clean as possible just that 2nd really made me mad.

Quick's rebound control was horrible all game. It has been since the break. Again the Kings fail to score 3 and lose.

I agree that it is a bad call, but well, it cannot be considered the difference. It's on the players to prevent situations where bad calls can be made.
