Was Lombardi Right?

For those of you who watch more games than I get to: Was Lombardi right about the players' conditioning? Is it good enough to compete in meaningful games in March and April? I keep hearing about how the players look lifeless and don't have any energy, do you think it's conditioning? Please discuss.

I just think it's the ebb and flow of the season. The Kings have had long stretches of playing well, but are now facing good and desperate teams on a daily basis. All the games should be tight from here on out, and hopefully this team starts to realize the desperation at hand. 7 points behind is the 8th and final playoff spot, and if they don't start playing like a team with a purpose, they may not make the playoffs. It's all mental from here on out, unless of course there is an injury.

It's not the body condotion.........
it's the gamestyle what makes 'em look so unbelievable slow and tired.
The slow motion puck movement and the need of 6 minutes to rethink a pass makes the game looking slow and poor.

Give them a true hockey coach and you will meet a completely different team.
A fast agressive game would be a perfect fit to this team.
They play retirement hockey instead.

But what do i know.........
Murray is the coach

We will make the playoff, it's a given.
Point is, we must not go into the playoff on a loosing trend.

FYI, Detroit has 3 games with Columbus in April.
