First, Markov is too valuable on the blueline to move to Centre.
Second Pleks has all the talent necessary to be a second line centre. He has great offensive instincts, great vision in the other teams end, and is solid in his own end of the rink. He will be a good one. He could work on developping a harder shot, but that can come with hard work.
Thirdly, Hainsey has been great for the Bulldogs everytime he has been in Hamilton. He is a true pp QB for that team and makes smart plays in the offensive zone. He could get better in his own end, especially with his first pass, and clearing the front of the net.
Why not??, he makes great passes all the time in the offensive zone.
Exactly my thoughts. I'm not saying Markov is a bad D but he's not as good as some people says. I really think he's overrated as an overall defensman. I think like Tomas Kaberle, Markov is as good as it can be right now.
He can produce 45-50 pts in some season but he's (IMO) gonna be around 35-40 pts.
As a center , he got the tools (IMO) to get 65-75 pts & be an anchor to solidified our offense. Plus like Brad Richards he's gonna have the tool to play 20 minutes + which is really great when a forward got that ability.
I really think Markov has stagnated as D, he's a great QB for out PP but he's not a #1-2 type of D in 5 on 5 situations.
