We sign Leighton to an extension even at $1.00m a year I'm a much happier man than I would be signing Turco to $5.00m a year.
I think we need to make a trade for a young goalie, but I definitely don't want to overpay for any of Harding, Schneider, Halak, or Price. Giroux/JVR going the other way is just not an option. Coburn/Parent is a possibility.
All things considered... of all the ones mentioned. I would like to see Corey in a Flyers uni the most.
The Flyers will finish 7th or 8th in the East and will be out in the first round in like 5 games.
That's how I see it. We'll be on our second or third goalie, and the skaters just seem so damn inconsistent lately I can't feasibly expect better than a first round exit.
The Flyers scare me alot and with the Rangers/Canadians getting hot, Im starting to get worried.. Be honest, where do you think the Flyers will finish????

Despite going 1-1-1 last week, not much has really changed here.
Has us very solidly making the playoffs at 98% (still) and even though we're currently 7th in points the chart has us at a higher % than both Ottawa and Montreal, taking 5th (still).
90 points should just about guarantee a playoff spot although as little as 87-88 might be enough this year.
Need to go 6-6-1.
91 points with a 48% chance of getting 6th.
Need to go 6-5-2.
93 points with a 58% chance of getting 5th. Definitely in sights (still).
Need to go 8-5.
101 points with a 52% chance of getting 4th.
Need to go 12-1. Yeah, um...no.

Right now I'll be happy if they are in 8th place. As long as they make the playoffs. You don't want the flyers to miss, and not get a good draft pick #. Just the worst position possible.
5th and we will play the Pens in round 1. We will beat them in 4 straight shutouts. We will then beat the Caps in 4 straight shutouts. We will sweep the conference finals and then beat the Canucks in 6.
So my prediction hasn't been too far off for this round...
Most people on here realize that the Caps would probably beat us in 4 or 5, don't worry.
I'm not a fan of your guys' Cup chances (iffy defensive team IMO and iffy goaltending), but you'd handle us no problem.
