Coaching ain't what's wrong with this team. It's the players. Always was the players. Firing McLellan and hiring Hitchcock won't change anything. The players aren't executing. It's as simple as that. They are following the puck around in the defensive zone and they aren't playing hard enough in the offensive zone to prevent the transition game.

It's not because they don't have heart. Or because McLellan is an idiot. It's because they are just not playing good. Simple as that.

I don't think MLK Jr. could motivate this team.

At least we are getting the choking out of the way in March. Maybe April will be different for once?

well, maybe these players need to see something drastic happen. Firing your coach in the off-season doesn't send much of a message to the players...maybe you take out your coaching staff at the end of the year, and the players say "oh snap!" and shape up.

That might not be a bad thing. Get the #4 seed, play LA or Colorado. Beats the hell out of playing Detroit.

I hope they will. I also hope for once the Sharks will start the season cold, and then get hot fighting for a spot which will carry into the playoffs.

The yotes are now 5 points behind us now. I never thought I would say it, but, the Yotes actually have a shot at winning the Western.

I can't believe I just said that.

I will have to 100% disagree. This team has zero heart. They have no desire to win.

These guys could easily win the cup if they gave a damn. Compare 2004 with this team. That was heart. That is the type of team we need again. That wa last Sharks team I can say I honestly loved.

This is the truth. I don't know how to say it any better than this.

Perhaps this will give our invisible captain known as Rob Blake a chance to actually do something.

Bingo.

The Sharks have done hAve done the extremely hot streak thing and the cold as ice thing.

Makes no difference. They don't want to give what it's going to take.

At this rate, we'd be lucky to get an 8th seed.
