INSANE

The only Bennet I thought at the beginning of the season was going to die is the one that makes it thru to season 3...

Mags committing suicide, saw that coming when she offered Raylan the drink...Loretta's got some balls for a young girl.

Not exactly the all out war I think we might have been expecting last night, and a few plot holes still open for next season.

Definitely feeling very satisfied right now.

I wonder if Ava's going to make it...what's going to happen when Boyd finds out that Dickie isn't dead and that Bennet county is there for the taking...

Season 3, going to be pretty good.

Joelee Carter's twitter implies that Ava will indeed die.

She promises to keep her fans availed of "future projects".

But apparently, no official decision has been made... so... there ya go.

Love twitter...that thing is so useful, nice work SK!

Doesn't surprise me, definitely adds more drama to kill her and keep Dickie alive.

Yeah I wonder though. Surely if the show's creative team has already informed her of their plans, then she'd know, but on the other hand, I highly doubt anything more abstract than a few ideas have been established for next season.

Fantastic season. I'm having a tough time deciding whether I enjoy this show more than Treme, as they both compete for my #3 current show--behind Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Both are solid, and completely different in almost all regards.

I'll say this though, I thought the scene where Doyle got capped was incredibly awful CGI. The entry wound was an extremely clean circle, and the blood spatter resembled something you'd see on a internet gif meme.

I'll definitely miss Mags. She was a great character.

After watching the first two episodes after seeing this thread, I can't see the hype. All the characters are corrupt idiots - including the main character - and just totally unbelievable and irrational in their behaviour. Not funny, not captivating, not interesting... basically nothing caught my eye.

From the pilot episode and the start of ep. 2: I get "no hard feelings because we're friends", but visiting the crazy nazi ******* who just wanted to shoot you dead, whose friends opened fire on your colleagues (another scene when they tell him to move on, because they have things "under control"*), seriously... big, fat everywhere.

*Yeah, because being in a car getting peppered with three automatic rifles is totally standard procedure. Nothing to see here.

I hate how FX only makes their series so short but the good thing is that is getting good ratings so hopefully this show goes on for a while.

It will be interesting to see if they actually show him in Glynco or if he stays in Lexington.

Maybe he'll leave for like part of the season premiere but Art forces him back when **** gets out of hand between Harlan and Bennet county

Clearly you are more intelligent than the everyone who made this the most critically acclaimed show of the year.

They should probably give you an Emmy vote. You could prevent the four surefire nominations it's going to get!

My sentiments exactly. To further expand, this is one of the very few series out there with actual character development.

Agree completely. I don't think Pilot Raylan helps Winona with the money but through the cartel incidents and Gary's BS he's changed.

Boyd has changed more in two season than any other character I can think of on any show. Probably a little too fast for my liking. With Ava being shot he'll change again.

Oh totally Boyd changes. Most likely going really off the handle. The fact that his brother knew they were going to ambush them makes you really wonder how he knew...

I didn't even think of it that way. Also is Johnny his brother or cousin?

I think at first viewing I just assumed, that HE assumed an attack would be coming and that was the way he prepared, not that he KNEW it was going to come.

I figured they had to know because they rigged the house to explode IIRC.

EDIT: Pretty sure he's the cousin. His brother Bowman(sp?) was killed by Ava.

I just remember they were talking to Aldo about their father so just assumed?

Its possible and I'm definitely not thinking he's in on it with the Bennett's but it certainly makes you wonder about the guy and if he'll let Boyd be in charge or just do the legwork.

What I"m thinking. You don't just blow up the house unless you know. And they had two guys waiting in the barn in the backyard for that ambush as well. Just a lot of "wth?" moments.

one of my fav shows on tv now... love how they bring new characters and develop the storylines....not too over the top like sons of anarchy...

and season two finale was very satisfying

Nothing like a little Boyd and Raylan frenemy action.

Get ready for Season 3

here's another tease trailer but I like the above one better.

Seems like you aren't in season 2 yet, so lets just say you haven't seen anything yet.

Those promos look sick...love how they make you think Raylan and Boyd are going to be facing off with each other then they come out blazing like that

By the way, for anyone interested in the show, the first three episodes from last season are airing on FX in about 90 minutes.
