Game 69 (lawl): Stars vs. Sharks

Go us.

This minimalist GDT brought to you by: American Airlines.

American Airlines: Keeping the goal light behind Marty Turco nice and bright for the duration of this season.

I'm pretty sure we're actually going to win this game. Call it a "gut" feeling.

Just kidding I didn't really poison anybody.

Or did I!?

I feel dirty in saying go Sharks. We aren't making the playoffs, might as well tank the rest of the year and end up with a better pick.

I don't care how hard we're tanking, beating the Sharks is always welcome.

These are the games where Turco should always be in net. The goaltending is always awesome between the Sharks and the Stars.

Razor just said Hatcher was stealth. Hatcher was stealth? He was many things, and was not terrible offensively, but stealth is not a word I would use.

Also, technically what Morrow did isn't interference unless they think he did it on purpose, but it did open up the lane for Neal, so it was a weird position for the refs. Damned if they did, damned if they did it.

So Morrow's lost a faceoff, passed up a point blank shot, taken a penalty, and gone offsides on the PP so far.

That was a really nice camera angle on that goal. Way to go FSN! Oh yeah, and that was a pretty ok shot too I guess.

Segal-Ott-Neal on the power play? Hell, if it works.

Now Richards, why couldn't you have done that in the first OT of Game 6 in 2008?

Because that would've ended the greatest hockey game I've ever watched a few hours too early

Clowe is as bad a fighter as Barch is. That's... sad.

Pretty intense game, but they usually are against San Jose.

I wish the D could make better passes to people's tape, but that'll never happen.

Petersen has been involved in some of the flukiest plays this year. Wild.

Barch won a fight!

After seeing the goal again, it looked like that was a true bounce of the boards, Nabokov just didn't realize what was going on and the Dman took a bad path.
