Not a bad thing for sure, given we didn't use a 1st rounder to get Bouma compared to Nystrom lol.

Personally I'd like to see another Brandon Prust (but bigger) come up in our system. A home grown fighter that can skate would be nice to have.

I'm hoping Bouma could be a Lucic type of player.

Apparantly Nemisz's injury was 40 stitches, due to a cut on his arm. Ouch

Colts just swept the Battalion. Brodie with an assist.

Spitfires also swept the Whalers. Nemisz tied it up with less than a minute to go to take it to OT, where the Spitfires ended it.

Giants could wrap up their series tomorrow night. They're up 3-1 after tonight's win.

Bouma with 14 points in 8 games so far. He's having a great post-season.

Damn that sucks, the blades were winning 3-0 to. Hitmen and the kings should be a good series though

Bouma's line (w/ Gallagher and Cunningham) has combined for 51 points for the Giants in the playoffs.

Great to see those prospects are doing so well. I think the cupboard is nowhere near as bare as the talking heads say. I wonder how far off Nemisz is until he has a legit shot at making the NHL?

Nemisz and the Spitfires are now on the verge of elimination after losing tonight and going down 3-0 in the series.

Wow would be something for Windsor to come back from this hole. Would be quite the upset to.

Came across an interesting article in the CHL prospects magazine. They had a ten person panel I believe, voting on the best players in the CHL. Howse was voted to have the second best hands/dangles in the western conference behind that niederitter kid everyone loves, and was named the conference's best sniper. Nemisz was named the 2nd most hear and sould player in his conference, and Brodie the 2nd best d man in his OHL conference behind Cameron Gaunce. Pieterangelo had just been returned to junior at the time of the printing, which probably pushes him to 3, but those are not bad positions for all those prospects. Almost forgot Wahl, who was named most complete player in the Western Conference of the WHL by the panel.

That's wicked dude... good find. Those are glowing reviews for our supposed 'empty cupboard of prospects'.

Thanks for posting. I think if Nemisz, Wahl, Howse (and obviously Backlund) keep it up the Flames could have some pretty decent prospects in the near future.

Sorry no link. Was just in a mag in a rink lobby. And it was a pretty legit panel too. Head scouting red line report, as well head central scouting where on there, as well as several Canadian Hockey League gm's.

Nemisz with a 3 point game as the Spitfires won 8-5 tonight, to avoid elimination.
