I like having offensive prospects.

Rodin under contract in the SEL next year?

He is. He'll probably come over to Manitoba in 11/12

highlights are up now

That second goal by JS was a good job of losing his check and getting his stick in scoring postion, nothing but positive signs so far. Oh and Scheinder had a decent game too I guess .

Heh every Rapids chance was basically from Abdelkader. The second Schroeder goal was pretty nice.

Great for him, looking good. The Second goal was pretty good. Keep up the good work, maybe one day he'll get a Hat-trick in his NHL Debut!!

Personally, Schroeder reminds me of a faster Mike Cammalleri in terms of style and physical build. That's probably his potential ceiling though his goal totals won't be as high. He isn't as agile/shifty/elusive as Patrick Kane or fiesty as Gionta. As long as he keeps going into the traffic areas and gets himself in prime scoring position, he should be able to make the NHL one day.

If Schroeder ever needs help at the pro level, he should definitely watch game tape of Cammy.

Considering the guys name is "CloutierforVezina"...

Sarcasm detection fail...

JS looked great. Being able to score with a defender draped all over him is huge.

How did he played on the game? I know he scored two goals but how was his skating, defensive/offensive coverage and how long did it take him to settle down the nerve?

He does get pushed around on the boards though. Needs to work on that.

edit: for the above. Fit in right away, didn't seem really nervous. Seems to be little chemistry with linemates but will work on that as he plays with them more. Defensive coverage is good, good in the corners but tends to float around a bit. He is aware of where he needs to go though and covers those areas well. Skating is smooth, but at times bobbled the puck on nice passes.

This man knows what he's talking about. I'm always super cereal all the time.

I declare players to be busts after 1 year. That's why Thornton can't preform in the playoffs, he's still haunted by the fact I called him a bust when he only got 7 points in his first 55 games.

If you encourage him, he'll never learn.

It sure would be sweet to have the 10/11 Moose team with (If one or two doesn't already make the Canucks):

Rodin
Schroeder
Grabner
Shirokov
Hodgson
Rai?(maybe)

Sauve
Connauton

That has the be one of the best groups of prospects we've had in a long time

Grabner won't be on the Moose next season since he will be waiver eligible. Also I wouldn't expect to see Rodin in NA next season.

That would be AMAZING if all those guys could play a full season with the Moose - Develop some chemistry with each other in the minors and have a few of them graduate to the bigs together.

good times.

Rodin will be in the SEL next season.

All the rest are possible... you forgot about Steve Anthony who may be a possibility.
