Ten games ago these were not even close to the leads these teams had on the Leafs. Where are you getting this from? I was trying to look back at previous standings and find a definitive answer but ShanYe's numbers seemed a lot closer. Your numbers don't seem to match at all.

If the Leafs still had their 2010 1st round pick this thread would have an entirely different tone to it as Leafs would be winning themselves out of a TOP 3 pick.

Now Wins are a pleasure not a curse.

In the Leafs last 10 games, they (the Leafs) have 16 points (8-2-0)

In their last 10 games Carolina has 10 points (4-4-2)
Florida 4-5-1 (9 points)
NYI 5-3-2(12 points)
Tampa Bay 3-6-1 (7 points)

I believe that is correct, but it doesn't take into effect a calander day, as teams may have played more games.

Meanwhile the Bruins have the Leafs 1st in 2011 anyway. So maybe he should says 2012?

And the B's also have the 2nd round pick.

As far as the thread goes, the Leafs have a great snipper in Kessel out of the deal. Who knows what the B's will get. It will take a few years to figure out.

I've never seen someone with such a hard on for anything Toronto - he says he hates the Leafs but I think he secretly is a big fan - why else would he talk about them all the time?

Check out the teams last 10 GP for each team. That will tell you the answer.

Nope. Lets not put words into peoples mouths please. The wins would be as fun with the pick as they are without. Appreciate you sharing though.

Yes this time last year was creepy. The concept of tanking is fine until you actually have to watch them go down night after night. In a small way right now it has the same sort of excitement as a playoff run. The scoreboard watching will possibly mean something right to the last game.
Nice to steal a point from the Pens.
Carolina, Florida, Tampa and NYI seem to be the only clubs within possible striking distance.

Crap. Almost beat the Pens but they clutched it with less than 3 minutes left. Gotta hand it to them. Kessel and Kule couldn't come through in the shootout, ah well we'll take the point.

Only team that concerns us today is Columbus who are up 3-1 over the Blackhawks with about 5 mins left to play. I'll update the standings once that game is over.

+2 on Edmonton just for kicks though

No, it shouldn't, the Bruins could only hope they get a player as good as Kessel in the draft. Also, we have Kadri coming up in the ranks, whose arguably as good as Hall and Seguin.

Leafs three points out of 11th with two weeks to go. #Leafs In a weak, two-player draft, the Boston Bruins have reason to be worried.

Big games tonight (for Toronto and Boston)

Buffalo (41-23-10, 92 PTS) Vs. Boston (34-28-12, 80 PTS)

Carolina (31-35-9, 71 PTS) Vs. Atlanta (33-30-12, 78 PTS)

Nashville (43-27-6, 92 PTS) Vs. Florida (30-33-11, 71 PTS)

It would really make my night if Buffalo, Atlanta and Nashville all win.

don't care for much, as long as Car and Fla lose, both NEED to lose for us to stay in this hunt.
