I'll include an honorable mention to Laperierre, Leino, and Betts.

I can agree there. I thought Carle played a very strong game too.

I agree. I couldn't count the number of time in the last 10 minutes that they had the puck on their sticks in their own zone and ended up coughing it up to a Dallas player. I couldn't tell, though, if it was a bad-ice problem.

I wouldn't mind that, but I'm not too sure he will.

im glad to hear this about boosh, id been wondering how he would have performed back in december if the rest of the team played as they (generally) do now.

i actually feel better about him in playoffs...but only since he is going to be playing games beforehand. the thought of possibly switching goalies during a playoff series gave me nightmares, boosh has never impressed me with cold starts

the last 2 goals Hartnell have scored have definitely been big ones.
Next 3 games are 3 games the Flyers should win.

I'm looking at the standings now...

The Capitols have 78 more goals for than against. That is ridiculous. by the end of the season they could be outscoring their opposition at a pace of one goal per game.

Goal tending, defense? Screw em, those are my cup favorites.

Holy batman, saw the two big hits of the game on the highlights. I think i saw coburn actually making a huge hit. Is something wrong with him?

Also kimmo being forsberg-esch knocking down ott in the third period. Huuuuuuge hit. Bet ott was thinking WTF!

I'm watching some of the game again on DVR. Boucher's footwork is bad...like, so bad (for an NHL goalie).

Gotta get those points when you can. Boosh played well and hopefully continues to do so because it's gonna be ugly if he plays how he has most of the season.

What WAS that expression?

Oh yeah, goaltending and defence win championships.

Caps will be out by the second round, if not before it.

Simply not true DFF. Boucher has been playing well all season. He had a couple rocky games, but he was solid when Emery was out and the team was on a mission to kill the coach by not scoring.

I think he could take them a long way in the playoffs - he's done it before.

What?

Is that why he was outplayed by Michael Leighton?

The Capitals are the Dick Vermiel era Kansas City Chiefs; all offense, no defense(and goal tending)
