Basically everyone is a must win. Have to win at least the next two otherwise it's over.

LGR!

Last time they were absolutely dominated in every aspect of the game, especially physically.
It was downright embarrassing.
Would be shocked if they pulled off a win here.

I'm glad he finally went back to Dubi-Christensen-Gaborik line. They played great together and there was no reason to break them up in the first place. Every game now is a must win.

I don't really understand this "must win" term.
Must win or else what?
We've been saying that for a couple of weeks now, and they keep losing "must win" games.

Rangers' gameday itinerary:

5:00: Arrive at MSG
Pregame: Tortorella: Discuss no game plan of any merit whatsoever; annoy players with bad attitude and stupid ********
7:00: Gametime
1st period: Allow the first goal; play tentatively throughout
2nd period: Some degree of natural competitive spirit surfaces
3rd period: If tied after 2nd period: Play tentatively again; lose in final minutes (score in own net if possible); If trailing after 2nd period: Mix lines a bunch of times, don't score
Post-game: Tortorella: Insult players; berate reporters; make excuses

Rangers loss+Bruins win=5 point lead(again)setting up the game on Sunday in Boston. The Rangers and Bruins don't play another game between tomorrow night and Sunday. If the previous scenario works out,the Rangers are playing for their season on Sunday. 7 point lead by Boston.

Boston wants blood for the Savard hit. Pittsburgh played tonight. Lost again to Jersey. Have to travel.

The Blues are really good road team.

This. Going to be a tough game.

I'm looking forward to seeing JD in the booth as he usually is when we play the Blues.

I think we should start applying the same effort to the GDT that the Rangers apply to their games. Lets role play, i'll be Wade Redden. The 3rd pairing poster who gets payed by the eyebrow.

Your GD threads have to look like this then:

"Yo guys, there's a game tonight. Discuss."

If we lose today, season's over. No way we win against BOS on sunday.

The Rangers are embarrassed. They are going to come out FLYING. We are gonna win 2-1 or 2-0 but should have won by a lot more. Gonna put up 33+ shots. Dominating game from start to finish. I'm putting 50$ on this game.

im not sure i agree with this...however, i will say this, if we lose today, and we lose against boston, the season is more or less over at that point.

Meh... we have already won 3 out of 4 games against Boston this season, and they're without Savard again.

We have to win tonight. Let's hope this is 2007 all over again where a home game against STL turns around the season. I keep flipping back from whether it's right to tank or not, but I'll never root against the boys, and they're obviously trying to win, so I'm going to support them. Let's do it.

Do I watch or do I spend the 2 1/2 hours playing a FPS online and getting sniped every 12 seconds?

Hmmmm...

Let's GO Rangers!
