Wow, I was really drunk last night. Good thing, not too much of a hangover this morning. I just hope the Sharks play a solid 60 minutes tonight. Play as a team, play to their strengths, and put up a good effort.
The problem is I think that Morrow hadn't really done anything in particular to warrant a real beating. Had Clowe given him a beating, no matter if Morrow asked for the fight or not, the consensus would be "Clowe beat's up star players!". Which is probably no the kind of reputation he wants. Also, it might do more to energize the Stars than the Sharks without it being an 'understandable' retaliation.
Burrows is back with the Sedins. Michael Grabner has been called up and will be put on the second line with Kesler and Demitra, the line he had the most success earlier in the season before injuring his ankle playing soccer.
Grabner was playing with Raymond and Kesler on the "Speed Merchants" line before getting hurt. Demitra was still on the IR at that point.
Who can have a clue on this game. Vancouver home after a road trip of 40 days and 40 nights. Luongo gets pulled last game. Sharks blow chowder in the past 3 ... but really haven't played well since before the break ... sometime right around when Vlasic went out ... coincidence? Maybe, but it coincides with Jumbo being on an all-time tear of high turnovers. Still ... Vancouver has two defensemen out too.
I'll go with the 'will' part of the equation and suggest that Joe is going to be the angry Joe with a brain and join in on the dump, chase and puck recovery instead of the really pretty blind dump to Boyle entering the zone. That Vancouver will be so happy to just sit on their own toilets again, they are going to lay down a stinker. I also expect our larger forwards to have a better time of things given Vancouvers blueline.
Gonna be at this game, fourth row Sharks side with my Marleau captain jersey. Possibly getting my butt kicked

Sat on the glass, puck landed in my lap, followed by a half-a-dozen kids who were trying to dig the puck out of my lap (that was uncomfortable). Then the mascot spent the next period trying to get me to give him the puck.
