Rinne is looking as sharp with that glove as I've ever seen him. He's starting to show actual swagger again on the ice.

Wow, something about that looked so beautiful. So clean and crisp. You know, I have a little tear falling down my cheek. Good job Captain!

To recap the first period...
Wilson is a beast. Dumont finally tallies another goal (I'm glad the top line is producing so Trotz most likely won't decide to go back to what doesn't work). Arnott with a quick shot on net for a potentially backbreaking, late period goal to take a 3-0 lead. No penalties to either side. Rinne looking good so far, though he hasn't really been tested yet. Harding looking shaky. Wouldn't be surprised if he's yanked this game. Also, Wilson is a beast

I wonder if Wilson could have helped us sooner. I think he annoyed Trotz with his "if I play my game I'll be right back" comment, so even when it was clear he was fully over his groin injury, and scoring, he had to pay his pennance. While the big club floundered and lost some of it's playoff lead. Then again, he seemed REALLY happy to finally get the call up. Nothing wrong with a motivated player. Ehh, seemed to work out well.

How can Minnesota not pull the goalie now?

No confidence in Dubielewicz obviously...I love watching Dubie, but can understand why Minnesota, who is still fighting for their playoff lives, isn't looking to throw him in there so quick...

Now they might...

4-0 Preds!!!

Lots of really good play tonight by the Predators.

I'd say Wilson is leading the way, then Rinne and Boyd.

Boyd is having his best game as a Pred.

Tootoo back on the bench after heading off and straight down the tunnel after collision with Zanon at center ice...

Boyd with a great steal for a SH chance.

Wilson with a brilliant pass through traffic for Bouillon. The shot would've rang off of the post anyway, but I still hated to see Harding snag it. His confidence had to be absolutely gone at that point.

Looked to me like Tootoo's knee was the problem. Could just be one of those things where he needs to walk it off. Couldn't tell from the replay.

I've liked Boyd a lot since we got him. Good pick up.

Sucks about Tootoo. Get well Jordin.

Boyd has been outplaying Legwand lately, as have the other centers.

Im pretty sure Tootoo had an equipment problem because it looked like Zanon got the worst of the hit.

Was Trotz tempting fate again with the Hamhuis/Klein pairing? It didn't last long but I was worried.

Wilson's all around offensive game has impressed me. He sees the ice well, and knows exactly where to put the puck. Perhaps most importantly he knows how to get it there. That's something this team hasn't consistently had for a couple of seasons.

Wild only had 4 Shots on Goal that period
If we hold them to 3 SOG's in the 3rd we'll win for sure

Loving Boyd again tonight. Too bad for Cal, but if Boyd keeps playing like he has, I am not sure where they can fit him in. They will not sit Legwand with his salary.
Pekka playing great!
