Why would the Broncos accept anything less than a 1st? If Seattle wants him they are going to have to pony up their 1st. If they aren't willing to do that... Oh well I guess they aren't going to get Marshall.

My guess is Miami or Dallas will offer their 1st for Marshall at some point. Mainly because Jerry Jones is desperate for a championship and Miami really wants a number 1 receiver. So if we just play are cards right we'll get that 1st for Marshall. And if we really play it right we could start a bidding war. We just need to stay pat on Marshall and keep demanding the 1st.

I applaud McDaniels for not just throwing away Marshall. McDaniels isn't stupid and knows what Marshall is worth. And if no one else offers up anything, guess what we get Marshall for another year which isn't a bad thing either, because he won't tank because he will still have to prove he deserves a contract. Its a win win situation right now, just play the cards right and it will be fine.

I'll believe it when i see it.

The offense will be better with Orton forcing the ball to Marshall than Orton forcing the ball to Gaffney.

Tidbits...

Kroenke to buy the Rams?

"Current minority owner and billionaire Stan Kroenke, who has strong ties to St. Louis, holds the right to match any offer on the Rams. The problem for Kroenke is that he also owns the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche. Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday that the league was unlikely to relax its rule on cross-ownership for Kroenke if he decides to buy the Rams."

Brandon Marshall in contract talks with Seaawks

"Negotiating a contract is the first step in creating some action for Marshall, who has already visited the Seahawks.

Then, a trade could possibly be worked out between the two clubs."

The Nuggets are looking more and more like a 1 and done. Granted they are on a rough roadie right now. But to blow a lead like they did against the Knicks and to look totally out classed by an average Celtics team...it's ugly.

Hopefully when (or if) Furious George comes back he can wake them the hell up.

I have no idea what happened to this team. They started the season, and fisrt few months, on an absolute tear. It seems since Christmas they've just fallen apart.

Wow, didn't realize they've been that bad on the road. Nor that good at home.

Baseball is no fun without copious amounts of alcohol and/or other intoxicating agents.

I enjoy going to games, although I haven't been to a Rockies game in probably 10 years, but watching this crap on TV is more boring than watching bowling, darts, or the like. Such a snooze fest.

Clearly Josh McDaniels' fault.

Yes, I will admit it can be. Just like any sport there are dull and there are exciting games.

I rarely watch a whole game but follow the team the whole season.

I stats watch every now and again and I do watch an inning here and there, but it kills me to sit through a whole game.

Most sports are exciting with boring matches here and there. Baseball is the exact opposite for me. It's a boring sport with the occasional exciting game. Like I said, I'd rather watch bowling or darts or something than baseball. It's just too dang slow.

If you grow up loving it and playing it, there's nothing better. I can understand why people think it's boring, and yeah it can get dull, but I love it. I don't want to be the guy saying that some people don't "get" it, but it's something akin to that. There's a pace to it and there's so much going on (albeit not at fast speeds...) that there's nothing like it.

Ok we gotta liven up this thread with something. I can't moan and complain and debate over the Avs anymore lol.

Congrats to Butler. Anyone have them in their championship bracket? Yeah me either lol.

Anyone wanna write up some mock drafts to the Broncos pick? I'm kind of excited about this draft. I'll probably publish mine tomorrow.

Gotta do something to break the sorrow and negativity on this board lately.

I took Rolando McClain in the mock here. I'd also be happy with Markice Pouncey, Dan Williams or maybe even Mike Iaputi. Man if could only have had two 1st round picks this year!
