I cannot figure out why people are scared of missing this guy. His absence will hardly be noticed.

He is tied for the most goals on the team. You can't really be serious.

If he has to have surgery, I wonder what the recovery time from the surgery is? (i.e. if he had surgery right after the playoffs, would he be ready in time for camp and/or the start of the next regular season?

Hopefully, he can rest up and heal, be back for the start of the playoffs (and be more effective in the playoffs due to being rested and rejuvenated), and if necessary, have surgery right after our playoffs are over, and be ready for the start of next season.

Probably because he's our top goal scorer, and is fully capable of getting real hot at times. He is also arguably our fastest skater, and whether people want to admit it or not, his speed is real good at backing off the defense and creating space. I also think he's tremendous in front of the net on the PP. It's not his fault people don't always shoot when we get a PP.

He's having a down year, but he's an important part of our team, and is still our best LW.

He has disapeared for stretches on the scoresheet, you're right on that but he's always good defensively. We need him to be good.

QFT. Not to mention his great work on the PK. He is always in great position, is fast, gets in the passing lanes, pressures the other team, does great work along the boards, and is always a threat to score on the PK.

I agree with this. The biggest issue with Milan in the second half of the year is that he hasnt been using his speed to stretch the D. He was doing that at the start of the year and it opened up a whole new option for our offense.

We need him for the playoffs because he certainly doesnt hurt us, and if he gets hot, he gets HOT.

So you believe the team is better off with him out of the lineup than in? Alrighty.

The team would be better with a more consistent player.

I would argue that MM rarely disappears. He just doesn't score consistently.

Game after game, I notice him not burying good chances. The upside, is that he creates many of those chances himself because of his good play in other facets of his game.

He brings more than just scoring to his game, and he is consistent in many other areas.

He will be missed if he is done for the season.

In case you haven't noticed, there are very few consistent players on Ottawa.

Clouston said worst case scenario he's out for the year, best case scenario he's back in 10 days, all depends on his rehab. And if rehab doesn't work, surgery.

Am I correct in saying that Donovan plays without an ACL?

9MM salary $4,333,333

total points 34.

For anyone making $4.3M 34 points is not enough

for f sakes Fisher could get 60 points and people would still be bit ching about his play and saying he is overpaid and overrated but this clown gets a free pass.

Whose giving him a free pass? All we're saying is that he's still a very important player on this team despite his down year.

Man.. I know he was a ghost lately but this sucks. I tore my left acl almost two years ago now and I'm still feeling the effects. I don't know how he's done it three, possibly four times. Poor guy.
