I think Shanny and Yzerman were on pace for 30+ goals but missed ~10 games. Plus, Fedorov was the big scorer and he missed most of the season due to the hold out.

Didn't realize that no player reached 30 but what was so dominant about that team was how balanced it was. There were 11 players in double digits in goals in the regular season and 9 players in double digits in points in the playoffs. No player really stood out from the rest...Fedorov could've won the Conn Smythe over Yzerman with his 10 goals.

To give you some perspective...
In '96-97: 8 players were in double digits in goals in the regular season, 7 players were in double digits in points in the playoffs

In '01-02: 8 players were in double digits in goals in the regular season, 8 players were in double digits in points in the playoffs

In '07-08: 10 players were in double digits in goals in the regular season, 10 players were in double digits in points in the playoffs

This year: 8 players are in double digits in goals

While Fedorov was amazing that and many other playoff years, from what I have read, it's one of three years Osgood has finished second in Conn Smythe voting.
