Firefox allows customized "personas" now. I'm going to see if I can find some time to create one. For anyone interested (I'm lookin at you nemesis here's the link:
ngmcs8203 - your's looks great. unfortunately the tool bar at the top of my browser must be a lot shorter than yours. i can't see the type at all, and the shark's face is cut off.
You can have local machine custom personas too, but the graphics just need to live on your hard drive. The cool thing about using the ones hosted on google is that if I tweak the design a bit it will change on your machine automatically.
Make sure personas is installed on your machine by clicking on the button on that homepage. If it says "You're ready to go" then no need to install anything else.
Officially made it to the google servers. So this probably should be relabeled as Vista/Windows 7. Cuz on my XP box at home, it is slightly off as well.
on Firefox Minefield (3.7a3) your Territory v2 doesnt line up perfectly with Firefox's AwesomeBar, but thats not your fault. The major thing I have a beef with is that I use the Extended Statusbar addon and the SAN JOSE SHARKS wordmark on the bottom graphic makes the text down there hard to read. Do you think you could dial back the opacity of that text so that the white statusbar text on top of it is more readable?

I love the persona feature - it's customization that I actually want to use.
Aside from that, I use a super-thin toolbar set, partly because I use a netbook (Commands+URL+Search on line 1, tabs on line 2) so a lot of these don't come out the way they are necessarily supposed to, but they're still decent
Captivate, post a screenshot so I can see what you mean.
same readability issue would occur when mousing over a URL, the destination URL would be difficult to read in the status bar. (without Extended Statusbar)
