Honestly I want to say I'm sorry for getting personal. After taking a few hours from the board I laugh at myself for getting personal here.

Eberle in the minors or majors is great. It's a fantastic problem to have no matter where he plays. All simple discussion rather than gettin personal. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what our opinions are anyways.
Agreed.

A 3 game sample is much better though as every game is another challenge and the fact he is continuing his dominance rather than just having spurts is showing true potential. I'll be happy to oblige that perhaps after 5 games in the minors at this pace he should come up for the rest to let him know the challenge he faces.

I'm surprised that in going from playing against boys to playing against men there hasn't been a greater drop off in production, even if it is just three games. I have no idea whether the jump from WHL to AHL is a bigger one than from AHL to NHL. I imagine the latter must be a greater leap but his performance in the former is nothing to scoff at!

edit: does he eat a contract year by coming to the NHL, or even part of his 9 game assessment that he is allowed?

Leave him in the AHL for the season. He should have success down there and he can spend the summer getting stronger and getting ready to play with the big boys. Five games (or whatever) in the NHL isn't going to make or break his career.

Coming to training camp with a boatload of confidence after putting up great #'s in junior and good #'s in the AHL can only help him.

Agreed.

My not so constructive criticism towards noobian wasn't warranted either.

I blame my aggression on the Edmonton drinking water. Makes a person more violent than Whisky.

heh, we're all a victim once in a while to the large amount of cowbell added to the water across Alberta. Here in Calgary this year they also have added desperation and, hopefully, a healthy dose of crow.

I think the poll results would be a lot different if re done

he is just dominating the A, I don't think 2 games in the NHL will hinder his development

however I think the best option is playing in the world championship (not so sure about that situation)
