Versteeg as our #3 C next year?

I guess we should've brought back Chelios to be our 6th d-man then.

Madden's an old man who has trouble keeping up with the play. Versteeg's a 24 year old who has an immensely greater amount of talent but gives away the puck too much. You may remember 2nd year guys on the team last year who had the same problem.

out of the ideas ive seen in this thread this is what i like
1st i would want to make a deal with the rangers to get dubinsky ....he would be my first option

2nd...i think malhottra would be a good pick up hes a good 3rd line center ...great defensivly ...great on face offs and pretty physical....hes good for 10-15 goals and 30-40 points....hes a prototypical 3rd line cenetr

dubinsky is my biggest offseason hope..i really think he would make abig impact on our team for next year....hes putting up good #'s this year on a horrible offensive team in new york....i think with the probable line mates of ladd and skille and the hawks deapth infront of him i see him being good for 20-25 goals and 50-60 points....while alos being the good defensivly ..and physical 3rd line center we need....and he's young and has a good cap hit....hes someone that can stay around for a while and grow and gel with the team.....it would be great for us if we can roll out 3 scoring threat lines more like last year than this year and we wouldnt lose anything defensivly with him on that 3rd line...he would really give us goreat center deapth with toews and bolland
